Someone who was very close to you?

Reading some old X-men comics made me wonder about if people on here visits graves often.

Both of my grandads. I wish I could visit my friends grave, but he was buried an hour out of town during covid lockdown 3 years ago, and it was a family-only funeral. So I never got to see where he was buried and his family doesn’t know me so I feel awkward asking them.
I visit my parents graves (they're right next to each other) and a couple of my friends. Obviously since I've moved I've not had the chance to as often.
Oh i didn't know you moved.
You did 😅
I did? Lol must’ve told me long ago then. How come you remember and I don’t? Im supposed to remember everything :p
I think this is the third time I've told you now 😅
Welp ill remember now :p

We don't really comprehend it until it happens to someone we were close with. My grandma's, nothing, my grandpa, nothing. My mom passed and I thought I'd be just as stoic, no, I miss her, I really do despite how angry we were. She deserves to be here and I miss her. So I'm going to visit her on her birthday every year. Same with my Dad when he passes early next year.
We have a family grave. It’s our tradition to visit annually.
Other times, we do like to visit graveyards, if we happened to drive by one and wanted to stopped and check out out…it’s fascinating to see those who may not lived long or those who were here so many years ago or those who fought in wars.
Nope.
My mom has passed away. I don't visit graves because my mind doesn't work like that. She is dead. She is not there. I don't feel any connection to a graveyard as if my mom is there. I can just talk to my mom anytime I want. Grave sites and gravestones have no meaning to me. I'm not "with mom" because I go to stare at a rock with her name chiseled in it. The corpse under the ground is not my mom. She is NOT there. So, no, I don't visit graves.
I don't visit anyone's grave. I would visit my friend's grave but I don't know if he was buried. If he was, he was buried in the United States and I'm not there.
I used to a lot before covid happened and we got lockdown and couldn't travel more than 5km from our home unless for work or medical reasons. Haven't been to the cemetery in 2 years sadly
Not often, but I have two grandparents, where I sometimes visit their Graves. Luckily they have Graves next to each other.
my parents, and it is a small cemetery in the country so there quite a few of our family members buried there, going back to the 1800s so I look at those graves as well.
I still visit my aunt's grave around her birthday, and now visit a friend's on memorial day.
I wish there was something left to bury back then. Then i would. every day.
No. I've been to a few graves of famous people like Oscar Wilde's in Paris, but that's something different.
Some relatives;
Some friends;
More on friends gone too soon.
Once. My first girlfriend passed away when we were long distance. (We went back and forth.) I was able to bid my farewells later, though.
