I usually try to ignore it. I had an aunt I disliked immensely and my attempt to have her banned failed so from 5 I tried to block it all out.

Sophisticated restaurants are nice but the problem is that you have more decoration than food, once I ate in a fancy restaurant, I ordered a McDonald's right after 🤣

What I usually do: keep quiet about it - I just can't stand this ''happy-birthday-song'' squeezed out by those around me who I don't care for.

Political correctness, and social niceties just aren't my thing.

What I do instead: I select one special friend (or lover) to treat us two in a special way.

As for yesterday, it was: going to have some big ice cream, and have some big sex afterwards.
