What do you usually like to do for your birthday?

ITS ALMOST THAT TIME OF THE MONTH y'all! (No, not that one ya nasty!) Lol I’ve always been about shopping, going out to eat, going to the movies, and going to the casino. My fam usually buys me some cake and other junk and we have a little get together before they join me in doing some of the things above. I’m not into smoking, drinking nor partying so none of that is happening.

What do you usually like to do for your birthday?

But for my 21st and 25th birthday, I went to Fat Tuesday to try some frozen shots. Yep alcohol just ain't for me. I hate the smell, taste, burn, etc. Plus i laughed insanely for 2 hours straight before passing out in the car ride home 😂 I mean each frozen shot contains a flavor and something different like Burbon, Vodka, Octane, Champagne, Rum, Gin, Whiskey etc. The shit just wasn't for me, so trying alcohol for two nights in life was enough for me to say no forever. And with smoking, I’ll just simply never try anything.

I miss my childhood birthdays I had from age 5-16. They were always the beeeest! I had birthday parties at the coolest places where parents and kids were allowed. It would be over 100 folks there. That night would be followed by co ed sleepovers, kids only. At least 20 of us little bastards running around 🤣 There was water gun fights, video games, pizza, hot wings, dancing, rollerskating, movies, etc. Man those were the daaaaays! I mean once I got to college, I threw those same parties, regardless of if it was my birthday 😂 Its weird. Like i wasn't the party type UNLESS it was my party 😂🙌🎉🥳🎁🎈👯‍♀️🍾💃💃🕺🎂🍰

Less than I'd like to. My birthday's on January first, so even the people who AREN'T hungover are usually partied out for a while. So for me, it's more of a day of reflection and contemplation than anything else. The exact details vary, but it culminates with sitting in a dark room, listening to all nine of Beethoven's symphonies in succession. I'll tell you, by the time you hit the climax of the ninth, the only acceptable excuse for not leaping out of your chair and headbanging along in gibberish German is if you instead leap out of your chair and headbang along in actual German, because you know the words.

I'd also note that water gun fights, video games, pizza, hot wings, dancing, rollerskating, and movies are all still available, and in fact in greater quantity than ever before; you needn't let age get in the way, although most people do.

I'll tell you something: I like onions. Sometimes I'll take one and eat it like you would an apple (which freaks people out WAY more than it should; it's an onion, not a human head). But I don't like them on pizza. And I wondered why. The thought struck me that it was probably a textural thing, so I decided to make a frozen pizza topped with onion rings, to see how I liked that. And of course I needed a control pizza to compare it with. As both were cooking, I realized that I could do this every single day, if I wanted to, and NO ONE COULD STOP ME. That's what adult life, if you let it be.

My wife and usually go someplace that has really good food. Sometimes we'll drive a couple hours to get there, like when we went to Sonoma a couple of years ago. On that trip, she also surprised me with a ride on a two seat, open cockpit, bi-wing airplane and the pilot did aerobatics. My wife knew that was on my bucket list.

When I met her, she was going to people's homes to do their hair. So, during her birthday month, most of her clients gave her gifts or took her to lunch or something else special. They were all good friends.

Anyway, when I found out that she celebrated her birth"month", not just her birthday, I was surprised. I thought it was a pretty sweet gig and joked with her about it.

I later found out that lots of women did something similar. They thought it was normal to celebrate their birthmonth.

That seemed to me like a well guarded secret conspiracy among women that they didn't tell men about. 🤣🤣🤣

I LOVE birthdays & usually travel. I'll have a minimum of a Birthday week. Sometimes it lasts like a month.

Last birthday I went to Jeju and only celebrated for a week. Birthday before that I celebrated twice (once at home and once in the actual day) I went to Suwon on my actual day. Woodbury, Boston, New Orleans, and FL when i celebrated it at home. & in 2019 I celebrated in Atlanta and also visited the bestie in SC.

This year I'm turning 30 so I've claimed this whole year as my birthday 😅. I'm just doing anything I want/can whenever I can and already have a trip to France, Italy, Greece, and Turkey planned out.

I was always spoiled with love for my birthday as a kid. If it was my birthday my sister would get a present and I would get some on hers. They were huge in my family so I continue to just fucking love them so much, lol.

I don't know when exactly your birthday is but Happy Birthday!! I recommend you taking at least a week MINIMUM to celebrate and treat yourself 🤗

Yeah I don't do much for my birthday also since I am a twin it's not just mine. We never really had a birthday party maybe some relatives would come over and are best friends. We would have cake and ice cream and couple gifts but that was it. On my 21st maybe the usual birthday when you get s*** faced but I don't really drink or smoke anything on my birthday. My 30 was pretty big especially for my brother just cause we felt our prime days are over lol

As I get older my birthday started to mean nothing to me more and more. Last year I had to work on my birthday so that was great. Later that week I got freaking sick because of a coworker. I hope my family doesn’t plan to do anything for my birthday because I most likely won’t be in the mood. 2nd month of this year and I’m already tired of it

Birthdays stopped being a big deal after I turned 21. Otherwise it's just another year older. Traditionally it has just been a family dinner or some time with friends and taking the day off work to enjoy it.

Depends on what day it falls on. If my daughter is home from college, we may go out for dinner and drinks.

If not, I usually have a quiet night at home, make a good dinner and snuggle with the dog and the cat.
