Is that your parents... or more likely your grandparents... or more likely just a funny pic you found? Great pic!
My parents were born in the 1920s so I didn't listen to any of the music they grew up with. I grew up in the rock and folk-rock era of the 60s and early 70s which must have been some pretty good music because unlike my generation, the young kids of today are still listening to the music of my generation. I remember when we were told as teens that that music was just a passing fad and would never last.
GUESS WHO GOT THE LAST LAUGH ON THAT ONE? 🤣
My mom digs The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin. Not bad choices at all. More importantly, she allowed me to explore a wide variety of music genres, including folk, rock 'n' roll, and blues.
Same here... Your should at least taste every genre and know what is out there.
Although i heard ones some music from the netherlands... Uhm can we even cal that music ππ€£ sounded like someone was pulling the cats tail. " poor animal "
my dad listens to military parade music, old songs from the 40s-50s, 50yo man latino music, and pop songs from the 80s. military parade music is mid, dont like oldies, boomer latin songs are eh but some are a vibe, 80's is good. so overall eh
i dont really know my mom's current taste but i know when i was a kid she liked vanessa paradis, lady gaga, avicii, coldplay, mylène farmer & oasis. her taste from then is kinda valid

Good taste is personal
My mom in her 80... Loves to listen to
Within temptation, evanescence and more of that... 🤣😂
It is funny how younger people react to that. But even more fun we she tells them the exact stories behind the songs , when they were recorded and in with country.
Those faces go from 🤭 to 😱😱😱😱😱
And yes she even goes to a concert is she can 😂🤣
My dad was into John Denver, the Beatles, Beach Boys, Buddy Holly, etc from his youth. It got played a lot so I'm now into it.
My son has picked up my tastes, so at 5 he asks me to play Bon Jovi, Queen, The Traveling Wilburys, Roy Orbison, and a selection of my dad's favourites I still play - and he sings along with them!
Yes. Dad was into old country and outlaw county along with 60βs surf music. Mom was into soul music and classic rock. It was great to have parents that were into different genres
My father liked Bob Dylan and the kingston Trio. He had some good 45s too. Marty Robbins El Paso, Stranger on the Shore by Mr. Acker Bilk, and others. My mother not so much.
Yeah. My mom likes 80's and my dad likes classic rock. I took after him, lol.
Yes, they liked to listen to a lot of jazz and big band music.
Yep, oddly I feel the music I like is as if my mom's music had sex with my dad's music.
I only have one parent. But she does have good music taste. If I like a song, chances are that she does too. Maybe like a 60/40 chance.
No. My mom liked country music and my dad liked elevator classical music
Damn, I dont think so? They never listened to music?
My Dad plays music around th he house if he's not watching sports. He plays 80's stuff and bluegrass. I like most of it😊
Mine were ok, it all revolved around singing
Yes. Lots of jazz.
