In terms of bite force, yes. The Kangal even outpaces the lion in that regard.
In terms of overall strength, it's much iffier. They're definitely up there, but there's too much variation between individuals and sub-breeds to make a really definitive statement. Caucasians and English Mastiffs are larger (as are Saint Bernards, but they're MUCH less aggressive), and Irish wolfhounds are taller (and were specifically bred to hunt the wolves of Ireland; that said wolves no longer exist is a testament to how well they did it); all are probably comparable in terms of strength.
Pretty sure the Kangal wins in terms of puppy cuteness, though:
they are definitely strong but not defeating a lion or a wolf without a spiked collar.
but strongest dog breed indeed but it depends on the dogs too i saw a german shepherd killing a kangal before (none of them were sick or old either)
That video is not real and it is not a real Kangal. I have been raising Kangals for years. He was challenging and dominating hundreds of dogs.
i didn't see any video like that, i don't watch dog fights.
i see it myself, some bastard friend breing me to one one time and before i was able to stop the fight the poor dog was dead (or hopefully just wounded because when i tried to stop them they took me outside (hopefully one of my mates was able to call police while they were busy dealing with my outrage)
