Don't put an iPad in their face all day. Or let them watch TV. Some parents have kids still in diapers or nappies until they are 4 or 5 years old because they think like you. They should be out of diapers at two years old and talking at 2.5 at the most. You write the words down on a sheet of paper you sound it out to them. Don't do "A apple ahh" You sound it out to them so they learn to read. You give them books. Kids don't learn from looking a screen all day like you see in those commercial you have to teach them. The screens are made to make them dumber and depended on the others. You write the fucking letters on a sheet of paper and you sound it out with them. Don't give them a screen with a guy sounding it out for them.

Saying a kid is not ready for something or too young to learn something insults the child's intelligence. It's like a Public school vs. a Christian school. Public schools teach specific math until they hit a milestone and tell the children curious about learning that they are not ready for the next level they will learn in the next grade. They challenge the child's mind to push themselves to their limits to reach their potential. That is why you see so many kids with ADHD and learning disabilities in special ed in public schools.

When you look at the classical Christian core, they push the child's mind to the limits so they can learn as much as possible. And on top of that, they help the child find purpose and meaning in life. Unlike secular education, which is just getting an education, you can get a job. Don't listen that special education bullshit a kid can learn fast if the parent invest into them.

Read to them at 5 months, play classical music for them while they are in the womb, teach them to read books by 2 years, give them markers and blank paper and coloring books, talk to them like they are adults, never do baby talk, give them lego sets, take away the set's instructions, and don't help them be creative in anything, let them just make shit up.

Read them story books with pictures and while you go through the pictures, place yourself across from the toddler. Make sure that you read out slow. Put your finger on a picture and speak out the word describing the item you are pointing at.

Repeat the word numerous times while pointing at the picture and ensure that your speech is clear and audible. Also, make sure that the toddler looks at you and reads your lips. He/she will pick up the word much easier if he sees your face and mouth. Don't forget to reward him/her with a smile/hug or anything that you know he/she likes (no sweets though). Good luck.

First get rid of the ipad and screens. It really slows down the development of the brain and makes them addicted to the screens. They have to learn by practising with the parents.

Talk to them. The more words that they hear the faster they can learn the language.
