I do it sometimes like in the past when I liked a girl but she didn't like me as much and I noticed it was bad for me to continue this. I blocked one or two because it's easier to just move on and forget about someone than to be stuck in this limbo. I can move on and adjust pretty quickly that space in your life will be filled. After 2- 3 months you won't even notice anything missing anymore. Today I haven't had a reason to do it in a long time.
