I mean you can't expect every people to be as organized as that. Even if everyone has that kind of house, it would still look bad of there are clothes, wires, devices and other things scattered around. If you think of it, almost everyone has LED strips in their rooms since LEDs are getting cheaper and now have more efficient power usage and that kind of set up is very doable by anyone. I think all average teens have LED strips in their rooms but most just don't know how to use them well.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/0Fi2mDo8jBghttps://www.youtube.com/embed/dZgABJ72y20Other than LED strips, there are other LED products that gives another effect to the room. I can show you my bedroom's studio. I didn't have an LED strip installed that time but other lightings worked. And since I had the walls and ceilings painted black, it gave it that dramatic void feeling. Maybe if this was the 2000s, I can't achieve this look.
As for those oddly shaped walls and ceilings, it doesn't look so practical but of course there are now weird futuristic designed furniture available which costs just about the same as most of the ones we have except people just don't have much time to change their existing furniture. Something trending nowadays that's close enough with your pictures are these 3D foam stickers with different kinds of patterns which an average person can just buy. There's this brick wall, futuristic, squares, etc. patterns which are so easy to install. Although it sounds cheap because it's foam, it serves it's purpose of giving an unique aesthetic.
And even without those oddly shaped walls and other stuff and as long as it looks organized and clean, it's the LEDs that grooves the room to life. As i've said it's very doable but not everyone has time for it. Unless if we have robots that organize and design our rooms for us, it probably won't happen for the next 50 - 100 years. We'd be dead that time.
And for your question, I didn't really give it much thought about what 2024 would look like. I think it would just be the same but with more screens and lightings. Exactly like the video I sent.

Basically what Back To The Future II thought 2015 would look like, lmfao. Watching it now vs watching it then was a crazy difference. They almost predicted the Cubs winning the World Series though! Only off by one year, not bad, hahaha
can't believe we’re almost a decade PAST 2015 now, absolutely nuts, I need life to slow the fuck down, lmao. Like as a kid, I don’t think I was able to envision the future past this, this WAS “The Future”, we’d have arrived at the peak😂

In my younger years, I never thought about the future even once. I just lived day to day in the moment. I think I began to think about the future just a few years ago and even now thinking about the future is a weak impulse, aside from my imaginary future, where I picture positive things happening in my life.
never thought that far, didn't think i'd live that far to be honest and also didn't think i'd be disappointed in adult me. what a loser.

At 30, I hardly thought much about the 2020s 😋👀. I was too busy on living the present moment aka 2010s. Before long, it was the 2020s. Sometimes time moved too fast or I didn't appreciate the time enough lol 😆 says most everyone ever I'd assume right
We do have lighting that can change color on voice command. We have two-way video communication devices in our pockets that can contact anyone in the world with a similar device.

Zenon girl of the 21st century I asked a similar question a couple of weeks ago. I'm very disappointed at the way things have turned out. :'(
I never liked the modern or futuristic assumed curb appeal myself. It's cold and uninviting. So never thought about it. Enjoyed the past more.
Never really thought about it, I guess just normal almost the same as it was then
