Why does my friend never support me but supports the other girl in the friendship group?

I’m in this friendship group it’s me and this other girl. I have noticed that of the girls in the friendship group always likes and supports my other o friends posts, but she never ever likes anything I post. I see that she is always active and online and she is always reacting to the other girls post with a love heart but she ignores mine. I know she sees mine too because she views all my stories I post. She also makes comments about what I post in person like “I keep seeing you going out on nights out and I don’t know how you manage to do that and function at work the next day. I couldn’t do that” except the other girl in the friendship group posts night out photos and she has no issue liking her photos and supporting her, and commenting nice things on her photos. When I meet up with both girls the girl who never supports me makes comments that we never speak or arrange to meet up, but in the past I have tried making effort with her to meet but she always refuses and then ends up meeting up with the other girl in secret.

She sounds like she may be jealous of you for some reason possibly. I have a friend like this. She is really nice to my other friends and everything but when it comes to me, she literally will ignore me. I was trying to talk one time to my friend group, but every time I did she would change the subject. This caused all my other friends to pay no attention to me, which really hurt. She also seemed to one up me when I would say stuff. This was getting on my nerves, but I didn't show it. She made it a point to mention how many guys had asked for her number a few days before. Then she took pictures with my friends in front of me, but didn't with my sister and I. I was very upset at this point. I decided to think about maybe why she was acting like this, and when she started to act like this. I came to realize she was fine with me when I first met her, but then once she saw I got a lot of attention she started behaving this way. It seemed like she was pulling my friends away from me, and that really was bothering me because I was friends with them before any of us even met her. I have come to understand that often people will treat you poorly for no reason when they are jealous of you for some reason, they'll ignore you, or try to make you feel like garbage by treating you differently than others and make it obvious that they're doing so. It sounds like she may be, but it's always better to be sure, so I'd try asking her, maybe just saying, "Is there something I have done to bother you" and if she asks why you ask, then you could tell her you noticed how she will treat you differently than she does your friends. Maybe she'll tell you. I hope you can find out why she's acting like that, as it is hurtful when people behave this way

This is probably a woman who heard a rumor and is being the catty woman that a lot of woman can be. Best just let her dig her own hole. It's going to blow up sooner or later by itself. She's either jealous or just obnoxious. But classic signs of a toxic situation.

Maybe she just doesn't like your vibe. People are weird sometimes. Could be a vibe problem. Maybe you said something that insulted her. Maybe she's envious of you, and you make her insecure.

The most likely possibility is that she doesn't even realize what she's doing and her behavior has nothing to do with you.

She sounds like a controlling person who plays games. Be yourself, don't engage. She's still in middle school. Fade out, make a few other friends on your own, and let her sink her own ship. Stay in touch with your mutual friend and be there to pick up the pieces when it blows up.

I hate, absolutely hate, girl games. I've had this sort of thing happen a few times in my life and it was always the same result. Nothing I did, said, or adjusted made any difference. In fact, my attempts to be kinder and include the girl more would backfire and it would get worse. I don't engage with those types anymore because nothing I do or say can fix someone else's insecurities, and that is a fact. It's sad because I always see potential, but I have to let it go because I can never fix it.

She is in competition with you even if you aren't with her. Female intra sex competition is brutal.

She is probably working on kicking you out of the friendship group. Find another friendship group is my suggestion.

Because she doesn't like you as much as she likes the other girl. She either has some feelings for you but they are not as strong as the ones she has with the other girl (she hasn't formed with you the strong bond she has formed with the other girl) or she keeps you around as a back-up plan whenever the other person isn't around/available.
I don't know, personally none of those is enough for me and I wouldn't consider her my friend if I were you.
