he wants to live with his parents have them in his own home. he says he wants a 10k or 15k square foot home and that could have own sections of the house. what do you think? would you still live with them?
1 yYes and I have. It certainly has its ups and downs. My partners mother is one of the most amazing, strongest women I know and I feel like I have a second mother in her as much as I love my own mum too.
My partner had a dad with dementia and a downs uncle and elderly vulnerable grandparents live next door. Love them all like my own family but at times it could get hard constantly seeing my partner and his mum caring for the rest of the family and not being able to help.
His dad's dementia and my partner sister and her partner was the hardest to deal with. Sometimes his dad would be asking to same question 7 times a day, get my name wrong, eat my food but I understood he couldn't help so would try not to lose it with him.
For his sister and her partner they were extremely selfish spoke to everyone like shit, never helped around the house, wete extremely jealous of me and my partner and would start fights with us. They'd have party's and friends over and get drunk late into the night when people were trying to sleep and would be loud then get annoyed at everyone else when we start hoovering outside there room in morning. 🤣 I will never live with them two ever again

As European square foot says only square bananas to me but living in parents house isn't automatically a red flag if there is separate entry and proper privacy. Of course in a "hamster" house or just a flat it's some kind of masochism to live with parents together but in a mansion it's not. However it highly depends on situation and circumstances.

1 yI was in a similar situation with a girl I almost married. If the in laws respect your privacy, it might work out.
My ex girlfriends father minded his own business but her mother was a troublemaker
I'd be careful. Living room close to any family hardly ever works out. Your business becomes there's, and when they stick their nose in where it doesn't belong, and you call them out for it, you're the bad guy.
I'd you're still not sure or not comfortable with them moving in or even having a place close to you, I'd tell tell him you don't have to do it.10 Reply

1 yI lived with my mother in law for a while. I guess it's OK short term when you are young and getting started, but I would not want to do it long term.
Why the hell does he want to live in a 10-15K sq ft house? Does he even know how big that is? I couldn't even take someone seriously who said that.

The only possible problem is if the guy is a momma's boy type (no backbone) and his in-laws take advantage. If he's a leader/King type then it's not a problem.

1 yDefinetly NO even tho i come from a country where this is very likely to happen. I wouldn't even live on the same street with his parent nor my parents, simply because you have or feel like you have no privacy also too many people in one house.

I’d live alone with my man or NOTHING!
Im gonna be so turned off from F—KING him!
he's gonna have to go back to porn, cause I’m not touching him.
Until we’re completely alone in our own home , I’m not touching him with others in the house!DISGUSTING!

1 yGood grief no.
Don't get me wrong, I like my in-laws, but living with them? Just the mention of it would see a 'me' sized shape hole in the walls as I made my exit!
00 Reply It depends on how they are. If they're nice and I get along with them, sure. It wouldn't be ideal, but I wouldn't be mad about it either. Maybe it could even be fun sometimes.
00 ReplyI wouldn't, but that's only because my in-laws aren't decent people to live with. Same with my own family. I wouldn't want to live with a single person I'm related to by blood OR marriage.
00 ReplyI never had a boyfriend it’s my dream live with a boyfriend or in laws. I want be apart of a guys family I’m almost 30 and no guy wants be my first boyfriend
