When I was 2, my mom died in a car accident and my dad suffered some injuries in the crash as well. One of them is a scar on his left cheek. I can only imagine how he felt reminded of what happened to her every time he looks in the mirror :'(

Yes. I am sentimental. I have also suffered a lot of losses. It's a comfort to have a physical item from someone you have loved and lost. It keeps them from feeling too distant.

I have some songs I just can't listen to cos they played at my grandad's funeral. Too many memories. Other than that not really

I'm really sorry to hear about your mom. I'm sure she's in a better place.
I actually have some writings from my mother which reminds me of her. She passed away from cancer.
