Is it ever too early to pick out names for your future children?

I’m still single but I have names picked out for my future children but I feel like I picked out the names too soon.

Nah, with picking your preferred Children's names there is no such thing as *too soon*; *too late*, yes that does exist.

Just be prepared that your future partner may not like them.

I had picked Damian for my son; and while the, now, ex first agreed... of course this was another things she disagreed with; so I proposed 'Lucian' instead and she agreed

I know my future partner may not like the names. I know I have to be prepared that she may not like the names I’ve chosen. That’s why I need to think of secondary names. I know the name picked for the child has to be agreed between both me and my future wife.

As a mother I find it so odd that some people pick out names early. Until you are pregnant or see the baby you can't really know their personality/looks enough to name them. My 4th son I changed his name in the hospital because what I picked before birth didn't match him lol
