Girls, Do you have sensitive ears towards your guy best friend and can hear everything they say in a crowded room?

I invited a friend out with a group of other friends. She knows 1 other person out of the group. We went to this loud and busy restaurant. Everyone talked amongst themselves. There was 6 of us. I don’t talk loud so I was talking to my other close friend/bro and he could barely hear me and we were sitting next to each other. But my sister/best friend sat across from me. She could hear everything I said. I thought maybe she was reading my lips so I spoke without moving my mouth and cracked some jokes and she responded to them. How could she hear me from across the table and she was paying attention to me while people were talking to her including our mutual friend.

Is that normal that you can hear your guy bestfriend no matter how crowded and busy it is? I asked her how could she hear or even understand me and she just smiled. I could barely hear anyone myself.

Can you focus in on your guy bestfriend voice even if he’s soft spoken?

I could barely hear anything in this restaurant between the tv’s, music, people slightly drunk talking loud. I known her for 7 years. She’s been able to hear and focus in on me in a crowd for the past 6 years. I just recently realized how good of a hearing it is 2 days ago. She’s across the table and can hear me better than the person next to me.

Not biological sister. Best friends that I call my sister. I have no romantic feelings towards her ever.
