How come you can't make friends with facebook?

It's amazing how we're so connected as a world, but yet you can't just hop on facebook and chat up and old friend you went to school with to hang out with them. Or even get to know someone new. I don't get it. What's an introvert supposed to do that's been fine entertaining himself the last several years? Well I want to make new friends again.

I met my wife on Facebook. My wife is from Madagascar and I am from Norway. After I met her (girl), I went to Madagascar. We got married in Norway and went on a honeymoon to Sweden. Now we have 6 brat. Facebook is really great
