I've seen statements like father may leave but mother never does. What do you think
1 yNo... my Mom was a complete piece of shit that lost me the first time because my Great Grandparents found her passed out on drugs and alcohol with a blown-out pussy and I was asleep outside on a lawn chair covered in mosquito bites, and there was needles all over the place. 2 years old and I was gone...
13 years of age I was sent to move back in with her... it was fucking horrible and I ended up getting taken away and thrown in foster care because she wasn't feeding us anything but top-o-ramen and she was drunk and stoned as fuck on drugs and was getting arrested. ... I moved back in for about 5 months and then I left at age 16. The state decided I was just better off by myself and gave me a place to live and some money for food.
My time with a Mom was spent being human labar, and sent to school with only 2 T-shirts to my name and no Jacket in freezing ice cold weather after not getting to eat anything so that other kids could beat the shit out of me until I come home and get the shit beat out of me some more. Dad was never in the picture, but pumped her full of money so she could get drunk and high all the time... and then he died some time when I was an adult.
I'm just living proof that a Mother isn't going to help if she's a piece of shit.
I had a talking relationship with her for a while, but then every other day or two she started accusing me of conspiring with my sisters to hate her even though I never even talked to them, and then she finally blew up at me about preferring real mayonnaise to Miricle Whip... so I blocked her. My sisters and I bitched about her bullshit a little bit after that and that was it.
Real piece of work...
Some of you dealt with the same shit and I know you're not speaking up. I don't blame you people. All I can do is sit here and say, "Isn't it great that some kids were allowed to take showers, eat food, and had things like shoes in High School." I didn't mention that part I wear size 8 but I was prancing around in size 14 hand me down shoes as well. I loved wearing clown shoes to school... it was so fantastic because the other kids really liked them. Meh.

1 yIt’s a sweet sentiment…. But it’s not true.
When my wife and I split up she left me and my 3 children so she can return to her previous party life style.
So what you said isn’t true. I raised 3 kids on my own so I know for a fact sometimes mothers leave.20 Reply

And if this has happened to you whatever you do don't internalize it and don't think it has anything to do with you because it doesn't
It's good to have our parents in our lives but some of us didn't have that opportunity you have to believe in yourself and love yourself
And don't look at things in the negative way because that's not what it is in the long run they will be a positive thing I can explain that a little bit deeper but for right now if this has happened to you you just need to focus on you and not worry about anybody else and you need to become the best you can possibly become and I can explain that even deeper but yes mother's do leave00 Reply
1 yNot in this day and age. I see too many news articles where mothers have killed their children. Here is a recent one.
A Texas mother is facing murder charges after dropping her 17-month-old daughter from the third floor of a hotel in Galveston. Local law enforcement responded to a distress call on Wednesday morning near the Beachfront Palms Hotel, where they discovered the toddler, Hannah Yonko, critically injured. The child had sustained injuries from a fall and had three puncture wounds on her back, according to the arrest affidavit.
Emergency medical personnel rushed Hannah to a nearby trauma center. Despite their best efforts, the medical team was unable to save the toddler, who was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

1 yhey, i have always hated this stance, for me, if anyone had the right to break both physically and emotionally it is the mother... and it is often portrayed when she goes, it is entirely and has no contact... in comparison a majority of men, have trouble moving away from the family and letting go of the relationship with the mother... i do believe if a mother leaves her kids behind, without a shadow of a doubt i would be looking into why? and my initial thought would be, he is less likely to kill any of the children, if she goes alone and leaves them with him? one incy splinter perspective here...

Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yNot if she's a good mother. Not unless it's in the best interest of the child. But the same is true of a man. I don't know where you read that but it's pretty sexist.
For what it's worth I had a former boss. That dated a woman who was pregnant with another man's child. She gave birth to that child and for first year or so of her life she and he took care of that child. But about the time that child got old enough to walk she decided that child was strong enough to fend for itself. She broke up with my boss and got her own place and would disappear for a day or two frequently partying and getting high. And my boss would get a call from the kid because he was hungry and his mom hadn't come home again. My boss stayed the "acting" father in that kid's life.
So I guess where ever you read this, maybe you should send them THIS story

1 yStatements where? , clearly not true. , I’d agree that the majority of absent biological parents are fathers for a multitude of reasons and factors but mothers obviously do leave their children. I doubt anyone of reasonably average intellect would believe a mother NEVER leaves her kids

1 yNot true. Not true at all
I understand how a mother has a deeper connection with her child given she had went through pregnancy and child birth. She also might breast feed her baby.
But there are many irresponsible, mentally damaged and sometimes plain evil women out there. They might have a harder time leaving their child but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.

1 yIt's a general statement about a mother's innate intuition to take care of her offspring while it's factual many mammals don't respond the same way. It's chemical, built into the code of the average female while not necessarily in the male.
It's not meant to actually be a statement representing the reality of dating and raising a family.

1 yIt is simply not true. I went to school with kids who were raised by their dads or, in one case, the stepdad, because the mothers abandoned the familes.

1 yAn 8-ball and a hard dick was all it took to get my ex-girl’s mother to leave her kids. Left a six year old taking care of a three year old while she was off blowing lines/dudes holding ‘caine…. ain’t that some shit😒😒😒
00 Reply 981 opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. Its generally true but like always there's exception. Junkie or immature mother does leave their kids they usually come back but they're not the kind of person their children can rely on they usually come and go.
00 ReplyUnless she a huge ho, there is cases of women who left their children, it very unfeminine.
10 ReplyYes, it happens just the same. And Never good whatever the circumstances. I know this situation first hand and from a couple perspectives. W/that said. I feel that more often than not the one that does leave is the one that should have stayed for the child's sake...

Social workers know that because they often see that case. Mothers, fathers, everyone. Often enough.00 Reply
1 yA mother can leave the kids, sometimes it is for the best interest of the kids other times its because she doesn't care and wants to be selfish.. depends on the person..

Anonymous(36-45)1 yNah. A father will sacrifice his happiness and his life for his family, a mother will sacrifice her family for her happiness. Women are the only gender who actively alienate good fathers from his children.
