I’m extremely worried! Adult daughter wants to drive hours away to attend a military ball with a friend?

My daughter is 20 years old. She said she is going with some guy friends. She is going to a military ball and is going to drive herself a couple hours away.

Her dad and I told her she shouldn’t go because we’re worried something bad will happen to her. She could be raped or killed even. Am I being too paranoid or should she not go?

Where do you live? In the US no one is abducted while driving. Millions of people make trips like that every week. Forget about it. Anyway, at 20 she's an adult and can do as she pleases.
