He comes home with the shuttle, says my father asked him to, buys cigarettes from the market and smokes them secretly.

Whoa, 13? That’s way too young to be messing with cigarettes. This is tricky, though, especially if your dad is sending him to buy them—it kinda normalizes the whole thing.

First, have you actually talked to him about it? Like, not in a "big brother/sister lecture" way, but more like, why is he doing it? Is it peer pressure? Does he think it makes him cool? Stress relief? The why will help you figure out how to stop it.

Also, does your dad know he’s smoking, or does he think he’s just running errands? Because if your dad is unknowingly enabling this, that’s another conversation to have.

Set a good example and gently try to educate him but try to get ur parents involved also. Maybe let law enforcement know that the mrket is selling them to a 13 yr old!

Only he can make that decision, unfortunately. You can try talking to him about how bad it is, but he has to want to quit, or he will continue to do it.

He likely won't stop. We all make our own life choices. All you can do is tell him you love him and disapprove.
