They would be popular for the duration of life, like even after high school and such.

Depends on what kind of intellect. Academic intellect is only to their benefit while in school, once they’re out it’s not as needed as you’re led to believe it is. If we’re talking finds-the-cure-to-cancer intellect that happens after school, then that would be a great good to bring onto the world though their unlikability might bring in a reputation that ultimately harms them if they try to cultivate a public image as a result. If we’re talking autism specialized interest intellect, that’s really hit or miss in terms of what they can do for a job once they’re adults and how that would work in their favor. Not to mention if someone is very likable with a lot of friends, it can be overwhelming to have so many, not to mention an issue in terms of keeping friends outside of school. Charisma is an incredibly useful skill, though. One can easily build a sales career with that, but it also makes me wonder how much of their life will be lived for other people rather than themselves.
TL;DR As long as they’re happy and not causing outward harm, idc
regular intelligence and true friends
Lesser and popular.
