My aunt lives with me in my mobile home, and there is a fireplace. I don't feel the need to use it, but she uses it everyday. Well, we had it going earlier. She left to do her cleaning job for a couple of hours. I went to the store and maybe a half hour later, she texted me and told me that the fire is out, and asked where I was. When I got home she didn't seem to be angry, but she said we've gotta keep it warm in here. So she started another fire, and went to take a nap. That's the only time I can take a nap, because If she's awake that she either wants to chat or have me do stuff, so I can't take a nap, because I can't let the fire go out. It kind of bugs me because she's the one who gets cold, and and starts it every morning. Tbf she does have walking issues, so it's probably difficult for her to get up like every half hour to check on the fire.

That's a tough situation with your aunt and the fireplace. I can see how it would be really frustrating having to be on fire duty all the time, especially when you just want to take a nap.
It's not fair that she gets to take a nap while you have to sit there and make sure the fire doesn't go out. That's her thing, not yours. And the way she got on your case about it through text, that's pretty messed up.
I think you should try talking to her about it, let her know it's not cool for her to put that responsibility on you all the time. Maybe you two can come up with a compromise, like having her set a timer to check on it every so often, or looking into some kind of automatic system.
You shouldn't have to give up your rest and relaxation time just to keep her happy. You gotta stand up for yourself, bro. Make sure your needs are being met too. Don't let her walk all over you.
Hopefully you two can figure something out that works for both of you. But you definitely shouldn't have to be the fire watcher 24/7. Get your nap time, my dude!
