This early AM recovery meeting?

The community living in at requires us to go to meetings everyday. Housemates been trying to get me to go to this one at 7:00am daily. But I hate getting up that early. So I told them I was there but no one could see me because I was sitting behind a big guy. They laughed and said I’m full of shit.

Do you think I was full of shit?

I'm glad you're going to meetings. If you don't need to go to the early meetings, then you need to be open about that. Don't bullshit about it. People will respect your decision if you are willing to own it. Lying about it makes you look shitty. Way shittier than straight-up saying "no. I hate waking up early. I'm not going. Sorry housemate, I hope it's good for you, but I'm just going to go to the night meetings."

Just own your choices. If you don't want/need the morning meeting. Fine, just say so.
