How do you deal with selfish sibling while working our grandparents’ estate?

My grandparents don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings when they pass but I’m afraid my brother is manipulating them to get money from them.

This happens s lot. I have a friend whose family owned a vacation home. It went to him and his two sisters. One ofr the sisters lives across the country and will never get to use the house and she wanted to get her share of it in cash. The other two siblings had to sell the house and pay off the sister that lived far away. None of them re speaking to each other.
