If you were offered a luxury, all expenses paid, life but had to live in complete isolation, would you take it?

No. You would die. Your soul would starve. It needs to be nourished by other souls. You could have the most beautiful house in the world, but if you are completely alone, you will wither and die inside. It's like a plant in a sealed box with all the right conditions but no interaction with the world. The human soul needs to be planted in the earth of human life. Isolation is a slow death, no matter how comfortable the coffin you're in.

I've work at night for years and spent a lot of time alone. Having no people around starts fucking with your head. Watching TV, having the TV on in the background, or listening to music or the radio where somebody is talking or singing tricks your brain into thinking you're not alone. That will keep you from going crazy for a while. I think I'd rather have people around than no people. I can make the money I need if I get off my lazy ass.

I've thought about this even after I've wrote about it still no way for me. If you never ever had seen a human I guess cause you wouldn't have that feeling of connection it would be easy then but I wouldn't trade time with my wife and kid for any money at times you wish it to happen but all cards in not for me

I like this place, i can see different kinds of people here, and thanks to this, my English is improving. Also, in my home i have things like a gym, pool, etc... besides entertainment. But since childhood, i’ve never been a social person. While most people always have someone with them, i’ve gone alone to the cinema, alone traveled, and done most things alone. Even though i’m not completely isolated, i generally live in isolation and i like it. Too much socializing doesn’t make me happy, being isolated is something i chose.

I live in isolation other than my family and close circle of friends. All of my properties are rural/in the middle of nowhere. I get most things delivered so I don't have to interact with the public.
