Birthdays have become quite depressing for me. Since the last 12-13 years, rather than celebrating, I can't help but reflect on things that happened in the past. Good and bad, both. People I've met and are part of my life and people who were a part of my life. Things I've accomplished in life. So, when you think all that you don't exactly want to party but people who loves you would make sure you celebrate. I just wanted nothing but spending time with people I love the most on my birthday whether we watch a movie or go shopping or just talk and have a meal. Nothing special.

Like its just another day only what matters most is me. I don't want gifts but I want to be recognized and thought about. I don't want a bunch of people to take me out to eat but I want a bunch of people asking if I'd like to go out to eat... I like for my birthday to be about what I want and plan not what everyone else thinks I want and plan... People have a hard time understanding my birthday is about me and I'm going to do what I want weather you want me to or not and thats how I like to be treated. The worst thing to me is having to do something you don't want to really do on your birthday because it's what everyone else does. If I want to sleep all do on my birthday I want to be treated like "good for me". I don't want to sleep all day on my birthday point is I can do anything i want it might be just another day but it's my day 🙂

My birthday is actually in a couple days. 😋 I usually don't care to do anything for my birthday, but my sister passed away last month, so my family and I have been going through a rough time. I know she's going to be on my mind and I don't want to be sitting at home, sad and mopey on the one day that I should be enjoying myself, and my sister wouldn't want me to be miserable on my birthday either. So, I'm going to go out and try to have a good time. I'm sure I'll have a nice cry by the end of the night, tho.
