No offense to autistic people but how come you guys have trouble knowing the difference between friends and acquaintances?

I mean we’ve all been though shitty friends or people who we thought were our friends but nope! Some people learn their lesson right after but autistic people still don’t pick up on that? Seriously? Didn’t they teach you what the real meaning of a FRIEND? I’ve seen posts on Reddit from some autistic users that don’t know what a “friend” is? Seriously? They don’t know? We learned that in preschool/kindergarten! My cousin who is autism’s and she still thinks everyone she meets is her friend and according to her parents she learned the hard way. She got shitted on and went DOWN. After that experience she should have know better but no, she keeps making the same mistakes and the woman is 28! 28!! How does a 28 year old not recognize a fake person at that age? She needs to get it together. No wonder our family is so protective and she doesn’t go out places by herself. Her parents and even her siblings have to go with her. Honestly it’s pathetic that a 28 year old doesn’t recognized the difference between a friend and acquaintances. Even her friends try to hell her. She doesn’t wanna believe there’s bad people in churches or beautiful places.
