Do you call your aunts and uncles by their first name or just "aunt" and "uncle"?

When we were little, we always called them aunt Annette, uncle Mike, etc.. Except for a few occasions, as we got older, we dropped the "aunt" and "uncle".
I was just watching an older t. v. show where the lead actress only ever referred to her uncle Charles as "uncle". I've heard this done in a few other shows over the decades but I don't think I ever heard anyone do it in person. It was always only either "uncle Fred" or 'aunt Janet" or just Fred and Janet.
It's like how, when we were little and my sisters were playing store one would always the other, "Mrs."; no actual names, just, Mrs..
"Well, Mrs., I'll have to see if we have any."
"Oh, thank you, Mrs.!"
