If your adult son or daughter doesn't yet have his own car at 21, but gets his or her license, do you let them drive yours?

Unless they are really bad or a real liability yes

Occasionally if they have other reliable methods of transportation like a bike

Nope car is too precious

Nope too much money to add them to the insurance

Your responsibility as a parent is to use your judgement on your kid specifically to give them the best chance at success.

I say generally, if they use the car it needs to serve a purpose. Looking for a job, maintaining responsible and fruitful social relationships, and at times, freedom so they can maintain the confidence in themself required to be successful

I'll have a car for my son when he turns 16 next March, he just doesn't know it yet. If he wrecks it before he turns 21 then I guess that'll be my sign not to let him drive mine lol

I don't have a car or even a licence. Should that be different if I ever have kids, they can use mine of course if need.
