Is it a turn off if someone doesn’t know how to drive/doesn’t have their license?

I could understand not owning a car if living is certain urban environments. But not even having a license seems weird. I would wonder why.
Are they nervous? Incompetent? Do they have a mental or physical handicap? Do they like being dependent on others? Don't they like going places and doing things? Aren't they adventurous and interested in seeing the world outside their own back yard?

Being unable to drive would make them dependent on others and unable to help others if necessary.

Any of those things would be a turn off to me.

I can see this for someone that lives in a larger city.
Great street transportation, no need to drive.
I dated someone that did not own a car but had a DL.
She just rented one when she needed one.
It was way cheaper.
The cost of the car, insurance, parking etc, it just didn't make sense.
She saved a lot of money by doing that.

For a woman? No. Most women that do have licenses don't know how to drive anyway. But someone that doesn't have a license? It would depend why. Does she have too many DUI's? I used to work with a woman that was a functioning alcoholic. She didn't have a license.

It could mean a lot of different things. Like if they had their License taken away by Law. Maybe they don’t want to drive, but now expects to depend on someone else to go anywhere. Both of those are responsibility red flags for me, and I wouldn’t be interested in pursuing them.
