If a person doesn't drive?

Is that a deal breaker / rethink for you? I'm curious... I hate driving.. Just the whole thing from physical driving to papers and stuff.. I pretty sure I'm going to stay like that.. Funny thing I knew by coincidence that Albert Einstein was like that too...

It could be a dealbreaker if I met someone who lived too far from me. I do drive, and it’s OK but I have directional dyslexia so I only go where I’ve been before, and mostly only locally.
Sat nav doesn’t help, as I cannot concentrate on driving, whilst hearing instructions, whilst reading signs along the way on new journeys.
It goes beyond driving to be honest. But I am on the spectrum. As was Einstein, allegedly.

I didn’t drive for a long time. It hindered me in a lot of ways. I hate driving too but it’s a part of being an adult.

I think it's not so bad in a place with really good public transportation but it'd be a real disadvantage in many parts of the US where it can be very difficult to get around anywhere without a car. I would find it a bummer in such places if my SO doesn't drive.

How easy is it to get around in Egypt without a car? I've never been but I think it's not so bad to avoid driving or owning a car in some places I've been like many parts of Asia since they often have train and metro connecting everything and the roads are designed to be very friendly to pedestrians and cyclists. In most parts of the US, I think owning a car is a practical requirement if you want to be able to get around anywhere on your own.

Yes you're right it's easier here but it's quite crowded here so having a car is still a huge advantage

Might depend a lot on the area how women might feel about it. I think it's always at least a plus though if our SOs can drive, especially if we think long-term with having children and families. It might be especially beneficial in those cases if both partners can drive, like driving kids to school, or the family on trips, to hospital if someone gets injured or sick, etc.

I think it can be working towards one depending on the area and maybe especially working towards marriage and family. But might be able to make up for it with other good qualities and perhaps you can find a way to make it work. Well, if you're so successful that you can have your own driver all the time, that would be awesome.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too.. You're reading my mind... Also drive services like Uber and such may get better and on a bigger scale in the future.. Making everything easier
