I think it's pretty much bound to happen sometimes. Sometimes on purpose, sometimes by accident, most of the time somewhere inbetween.

An ex I had crossed a boundary and I talked to her about it. I said mistakes happen but it's a big deal to me.

She did it again and I told her flat out it's a hard boundary to me, I told her why and that if she does it next time we're done.

She did it again and what really made me follow through was I noticed she didn't seem as ashamed as the first two times. And that's when I realized she was crossing it because she didn't respect it.

Every relationship that i’ve ever had with a woman. In my experience, women don’t respect men’s boundaries.
Most men respect other men’s boundaries because failing to do so can often result in violence. Similarly, men who refuse to respect women’s boundaries usually do so because they believe that violence is in their favor.
I have had to enforce boundaries with violence a few times. As of today, i have always been able to avoid using violence against women. Not that i necessarily believe that it’s wrong. I just know that the system is rigged against me.
