It is about equal I would say. We all work different places with different hours. I typically just keep them informed what days I have off in a group chat we have going. Then everyone can pour through our schedules and suggest times to all meet up.

Often someone in the group gets left out since it is just too hard to coordinate that many at any one point in time. We all understand it isn't intentional and try to make sure it doesn't happen over and over to the same person.

My friends ask me all the time but that wasn't your question. If I'm feeling like hanging out, I take initiative and don't wait for someone to maybe or maybe not ask. Would be very inefficient.

some people will refuse to take the initiative to ask even if they want to go out. thats what im kinda getting at.

Depends on the circumstance. Sometimes it's me, other times it's them.
