That’s not what I asked. I asked what do you think about friendships with the opposite gender?

I think it’s rare for an opposite-sex relationship to remain fully platonic from start to finish unless certain stipulations are in place. Such as:
•one doesn’t find the other attractive or the feeling is mutual
•one is part of the LGB+ community, or even both of them are (like one is gay and one is lesbian)
•one or both are already romantically involved with someone else
•they can’t be together due to distance or other obstacles that they aren’t able or willing to resolve
Outside of these stipulations, I believe it is hard (not impossible!) to remain fully platonic through the entirety of that friendship. Because when you think about it, everything is in place for those two to date. They share common interests, make time for one another whether that is to text, call, or hangout. They’re fond enough of each other to actively maintain that connection as opposed to just being acquaintances. It’s almost everything you fundamentally need and/or want in a relationship: consistency, effort, mutual interests, fondness. It make sense for one person to fall for the other at some point, even if it’s just a crush.
There is nothing wrong with it and its very healthy for you.
When most girl and guy becomes friends in the beginning
Most of the time its because of lust or close to it
I have more girls that are friend the good guy friends
But in the beginning you both have to be honest with yourselves and say okay I like her because I like her she's a good person or I like her because I want to get in her pants and now how long is that relationship going to last you have to be honest if you know that it wouldn't last and you don't even go there because once you break up that friendship is over
The Friendships that happened that way this friendships last forever because there's respect trust and a bond as a true friend
So that's what I mean when I say it's healthy for you
Anytime did I meet a girl That's one of the first things that comes to my mind Do I want to date her do I want to ruin this Because I know Being compatible Things just won't work out that way When loves involved Or just lust
So but I think it's a great thing to have good friends that you respect you trust and you become very close with them when this happens and you don't go any further than that
This sad part is when this happens and then if I would get a girlfriend the girlfriend would say well wait a minute why are you going to see her well because she's my friend and they get kind of jealous or they don't like it so then you have to kind of fix that and then you basically stop seeing your friends are as much of them so the true friendship is very well worth it
I have a very close relationship with a guy friend and it's been close for years. We totally respect each other and aren't looking to take it further. We love each other of course, but it's platonic.
So based on that, I think it's very possible to do although I also feel it's guys who often want to cross that line more often than not. If a guy has a restraint then a opposite gender friendship can be lasting.
@WhitneySnow what do you think?
I'd say nope, let's face it - former VP before he was VP apparently Mike Pence once wrote "you stick women and men together in a submarine (allowing women to serve along men) and things are gonna get interesting" after all, fit 20s and 30s men and women in their prime in a submarine for months on end.
Lol 😂 😆 so you know, humans, romance happens - it's what comes naturally - no pun 👀
So I say no to platonic 😁🙌🏻
Maybe if they are friends since childhood and so they think of each other as almost family. Otherwise, maybe if they both find each other physically unattractive and have their own relationships. The odds are low I think for two single people, where neither ever develop any feelings.
I think they really cool especially and all of my friends regardless gender!
Yes, if you know how to respect boundaries and not cross it then it's possible
Absolutely. I think people should have friends of the same gender more often
*Opposite gender I mean
They are awesome if done right
yes i think it can
