Has someone ever told you that you look like someone that you got offended by or upset?

A while back I told this one girl she looked
Like Michael Jackson , I didn’t mean to offend her in any way , because she clearly looked like Michael Jackson and everyone else agreed as well. But apparently she got offended by it , and apparently she is still hurt by it til this day , When I found out she was still hurt by it , I did feel bad and told her friends’ to tell her I am sorry that she took it the wrong way even though I was still laughing. I know some people can be very sensitive about things which is why I wish I never said anything to her now that I know she is still hurt by it , Have you ever been told you looked like someone and took offense to it? People tell me I look like celebrities all the time and I just laugh , but I guess it’s because I am not that sensitive to things like that

For a long time people said I looked like John Cusack , so I use to tease people and say he was my cousin , and people believed it 😂 I also heard people say I looked like Scott Weiland lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots , as well as other celebrities as well. I just laugh and don’t take any offense to it because it isn’t that big of a deal considering I am not those people but for each their own I guess. This Halloween I am going to dress up like John Cusack from the movie Say Anything 😂

Yeah a few times.. cuz it's like the people they said I looked like were ugly and I didn't even look like those people..
Also this one girl I knew was 350lbs and she said we are basically the same size and I wouldn't get on the ride because she couldn't. I wasn't anywhere near her weight and I also got on the ride.. I feel when people feel shit about themselves they try to tear you down to feel better.

Yes unfortunately that is usually the case in a lot of circumstances, a lot of people tend to take things the wrong way most of the time , because they are sensitive and insecure about themselves so they easily defend themselves right away by knocking someone else down, to make themselves feel better about themselves. In my situation with this girl , I wasn’t by any means trying to hurt her feelings , was just saying she looked a lot like Micheal Jackson not trying to offend her in any way but unfortunately she took offense to it apparently which made me feel bad that she took it that way as to why I wanted to apologize. Whether she accepts my apology or not that’s up to her but I figured it is the respectful thing to do. Overall it just goes to show how sensitive people can be , over things that you aren’t that sensitive about. It’s like we pretty much have to watch what we say at all times because people take things the wrong way a lot of times

Honestly its barely ever offended me. More than once people have said i remind them of Slash because of my hair lol, and one time was told that in the face i look like Linda Perry from 4 Non Blondes.
