Is my dad's friend a creep or is he just being friendly?

I'm 16 and he's in his 40's. He knocked up a woman a few years ago and he has a 2 year old but he isn't married to the woman they are just boyfriend and girlfriend. His life used to be a huge mess until he knocked up the girl and he pulled himself together for his son.

ANYWAYS, he came over a few days ago to do some work on our bathroom and I was the only one home. It was morning so I was in my pj shorts and I kept seeing him check out my legs. I was in my room studying and he kept calling me out asking for things like scissors and that's when I noticed him checking me out. He also kept asking me if I have a boyfriend in a joking way.

Is this creepy or is he being friendly? It doesn't make me uncomfortable though so I wouldn't tell my dad

He could be interested in you, find you attractive or just trying to be friendly.

As you obviously have no interest in him, I'd just be friendly but not overly talkative.

I will say this much, if I was a 16 year old girl and knew that a 40 year old man was coming by my house in the morning, I'd probably be dressed in something more than PJ's when he showed up. As I've never been a 16 year old girl, I can't say I'd feel this way for sure, but I'm taking a logical guess.

I'd have to agree, I don't even like answering the door in pjamas (especially shorts) ha ha but maybe I'm just awkward

is it creepy? yes. is it normal? yes. older men like young girls,youth attracts them,it's normal,just the way they are,but they're not supposed to act on it,so as long as it stays on just checking you out-it's fine,if he ever tries anything more-send him to jail.

id feel uncomfortable..on of my dads friends right after my 18th birthday commented on my friend saying oh are you 18 too..dont worry you're cute too and winked..ew..we don't like being anywhere near him now!

In my opinion, this isn't friendly. With him being 40 something, he should have more respect for you considering your age and the fact that your his friend's daughter.
