Anonymous(36-45)+1 ylol my husband stops in the middle of sex to answer phone calls ALL THE TIME, I can't do anything about it but it is WIERD.
Anyways well yeah it would be WIERD if he
-spends 90% of his free time on the phone and talking to his mom
-sends thousands of letters a day with love poems to his mom
-buys his mom tons of flowers and chocolates once a day
and then doesn't do any of that with me, that would be totally WIERD! I WOULD DUMP HIM! AHHHHH!
but he spends
-100% of his free time with me
-he doesn't really call and talk to his mom or write to her at all but he calls me and writes to me... and makes vacation plans and such with me
see? YOu have to SEE the BIG picture! they may say that they love their parents more than you but then they spend all their time with you and make plans with you and buy you tons of stuff (which he didn't buy any presents for his parents ever but he buys me tons of stuff always) then you can be like oh yeah whatever.01 Reply
Asker+1 yHe doesn't have much respect for you then does he? Anyone that stops during the middle of sex to take a call has no respect for the other and treats them like their whore...imo.

+1 yI think you should love them equally, but differently. For example, take wine, you have red and white. You fill it up to equal proportions in separate containers. They are both wine (love), yet they are different because one is red and one is white.
Hope I made my perspective understandable. :)12 Reply- +1 y

Asker+1 ydifferent enough that he would stop having sex with you to take a call from his mother in the middle of it? When he KNEW it was not an emergency.

... but that's his mom?
Asker+1 yYou would be okay with him stopping in the middle of sex to take a call from his MOTHER?
it depends on the relationship that I had with my girlfriend, compared to my mother. I don't think I will ever love my mother compared to my girlfriend. my mother will be with me through thick and thin. I don't a girlfriend would do that for me. if I was financially struggling my mum would be there me every time. most girlfriends would just leave. my girlfriend would be leave me if was not performing in the bedroom. not that I would sleep with my mum. (gross) so I what I am saying would my girlfriend stay with me know matter happens to me? I can't see it happening. where as my mother would. my mom is love is unconditional love. my girlfriend love would conditional love.

most people can't understand the difference between conditional and unconditional love. Real Love is "I care how you feel." Conditional love is "I like how you make me feel." Conditional love is what people give to us when we do what they want, and it's the only kind of love that most of us have ever known. People have liked us more when we made them feel good, or at least when we did nothing to inconvenience them. In other words, we have to buy conditional love from the people around us.
Asker+1 yVery good answer. You mean to tell me that you would stop in themiddle of sex with your girlfriend to talk to your mother? Now let me turn the question back on you...Would you stick with your girlfriend with financial troubles, isn't satisfied with her in bed, you would stay with your girlfriend no matter what?
- +1 y
i am the person that originally wrote it. I cancelled that account. yes I would stay with my girlfriend no matter, sex shouldn't be everything in a relationship, that is something you can work on. I would help my girlfriend if she had financial trouble. but I would go so far to help her. but I would not leave her for it. I would not stop talk to my mum during sex with girlfriend. if I was have sex with my girlfriend, I would turn my phone off. my mum is everything me,

i think you have taken my love for mum the wrong way. I am just going to stop everything just for mum. but the problem with relationships is, with girlfriend and boyfriend its not unconditional love is it. the word love is not just something you say to someone everyday. love is actions. I could say to I love you today. tomorrow, you could say you don't love me. so basically that love means nothing. its just words.

the mum thing I have said all wrong. if I was having sex with girlfriend, I would not answer the phone to mum. I would turn my phone off. I get sick and tired of my girlfriend telling me to keep saying I love her or she loves me, and I say to her, love is actions. anyone say can I love you, and not mean it. a lot of people don't understand love is. it certainly not the way books and movies have created it.

So what’s wrong with conditional love? We see it everywhere we look, so what could be wrong with it? Imagine that every time you pay me fifty dollars, I tell you I love you. We could do that all day, but at the end of the day would you feel loved? No, because you’d know that I “loved” you only because you paid me. We simply can’t feel fulfilled by love we pay for. We can feel loved only when it is freely, unconditionally given to us. The instant we do anything at all to win the approval or respe

The instant we do anything at all to win the approval or respect of other people with what we say, what we do, how we look we are paying for the attention and affection we receive, and we can’t feel genuinely loved.
+1 ywhen you are with any guy, that love you have for your boyfriend is conditional love, which means you love him on conditions, he performs financially, he performs in bed, he treats you a certain way. let say he is not performing in bed to your standards., your going to dump him eventually. so he is only in relationship or you love him on those conditions.
thats not unconditional love, that love you will love him, and stay with him no matter what he does with you. the love you and I have for our parents and our parents have for us is unconditional love. cause no matter happens we will always love each other10 Reply

+1 yA good mother would encourage a man to put his wife first. If she vies to be the main woman in his life and acts jealous and the wife is kind, the mother does not deserve to be loved as much as the wife. The mother who truly puts her son first and therefore deserves the ultimate love would put the marriage of her son first. Essentially, there is no right or wrong answers, it depends greatly on the mother and wife invovled. But there is no scenario where a mother is trying to be number one and it is ok for the son to be entertaining that.
00 Reply329 opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. Depends on the relationship with the mother, I suppose. If you throw in the whole Oedipus thing then no, a guy will never love his GF/wife more - maybe equally. Then again, some guys don't even love their mothers nearly as much as their significant other. Can't really say.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yWe're in this world only because of our mother,
she kept us for 9 months inside her that's not a small thing
we should not compare her with anybody else, g.f/wife comes after that
.
Atleast I love my mother more but h love my g.f too and answering her call during sex
it's already happened with me and d call lasts for 10-12 secs but I didn't leave the bed, I starting playing with my girls b**** that time __
she had no prob. With it, even for her, her mom comes first then me !03 Reply
Asker+1 ythats gross...getting it on with your girlfriend, playing with her and talking to and THINKING of your mother. You and I would never speak again if I was your gf.
Opinion Owner+1 ySounds like you've already set your mind !
It depends on how well you know your partner
and its just your thinking that a guy playing with her and mind is thinking of mother while answering d call !
Well
I just said that am feeling tired and will call you tommorow that's it !
.
.
I should say am lucky that you're not my g.f !
.
No offence but You really need to grow up :p
Asker+1 yIts not that I need to grow up...Sounds like a pervert...playing with or having sex with your girlfriend AND talking to your mother. YUCK!
It's a different kind of love and there is a very distinct line between the two of them. Once married, obviously my wife would mean far more to me.

Asker+1 yim asking because the boyfriend of over a year are expecting a kid in a couple months. Granted he hasn't wanted sex for weeks. When he finally got it through his head that I WANT it...he cuts me off in the middle of it to take a call from his mother...which he KNEW was not an emergency.
Asker+1 yOh trust me. When he left the room to talk to her, I knew I was the topic of the conversation. I am so done. Don't care to even speak to him. Just was curious how people can do something like that...

It's a parasitic relationship. Guys like that are like their mom's pseudo-husband. She had a strong presence in his life and kept him in order and coddled him and did all kinds of things for him. He became dependent on her. She was probably the needy type personality and they both bought into it and became comfortable. It's not healthy. It doesn't allow him to grow to be a man and chose a woman to love and make his number 1.
Asker+1 yHmmm...you are on to something there. Needy, dependent...yes in deed. However, that doesn't justify it for me and still have no desire to forgive or forget. Bad part for him...i am carrying HIS child and have no desire to talk or certainly have sex with him again. Creeps me out that he is some type of pervert.
No & Yes...my wife is my partner in life and she comes WAY before my mother...but my mother is pretty good about that...she knows a Man & Wife always come first..or should...o.O
00 Reply609 opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. Family love and romantic love are different. I love my mom very much as family but I don't love my girlfriend the same way that I love my mom.. that's kind of weird.

that comes down too conditional and unconditional love. conditional love is what you have for your girlfriend. unconditional love is what you have for your family or mother. most people don't realize that.
- +1 y
conditional love is you love a person under certain conditions, like they treat you a certain way, perform in bed to your expectations etc. unconditional love is love, that no what happens to that person or does to you, you love them and stay with them, no matter happens between you.

@jimmyjkd123 - I would hope one would love their mother and their girlfriend differently because you would not want to have sex with your mother. You can love them both unconditionally.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yi love my mother more. girlfriend come and go, so do wives, you only have one mom, and mine actually cares about me, and isn't running game like so many women.

Asker+1 yyou love your mother more that you would stop in the middle of sex with your girlfriend to take a call from your mother that you KNEW was not an emergency?
Opinion Owner+1 yno way!
Asker+1 yJust wondering as mine did that. And it is rather disturbing. Haven't spoke to him since and we have a baby due in about 6 weeks.
Opinion Owner+1 yhe's a mama's boy. a lot of guys are like that. I love my mom, but I'm not a mama's boy. believe me, most guys are mama's boys, even if they act tough and play like they aren't.
Asker+1 yUnderstood. but when he stopped in the middle of having sex with me to talk to his mother that he KNEW was not an emergency, she was just calling him back. That is disgusting and degrading to me. If he wants to f his mother than go do it. I have no desire to sleep with someone who thinks of their mother when having sex with me. haven't spoke to him since.
Opinion Owner+1 yis he you're baby's daddy?
Asker+1 yyes
Loving mom must be much more than anything else, you can get another wife or girlfriend but you can’t get another mom.
