not to say she consciously prevents me from getting laid but whenever I talk to a girl I like she seems to be around. I try to tell her politely to leave whenever this happens without making it awkward for the other girl but she never seems to get the message.

it wouldn't be so bad if a bunch of people didn't already think we were dating (especially my crushes friend but that's another story).

ik no girl likes a guy with a fan club so how do I give her the message politely without hurting her feelings?

Just tell her. The same thing is happening with my roommate and our best guy friend, everyone thinks they are dating. Most likely she will understand, she may even be going through the same thing. Just tell her that you are looking for a relationship and that you value her friendship, but are worried that people may have the wrong idea; She'll probably understand and back off

Don't get into a bunch of detail because its not needed just say something like "Could you give me some space the next time I'm trying to talk to girls? people already think we're dating so it makes it awkward". Something short, simple, to the point and does not have enough details to hurt her feelings and make her feel like you've been hoarding ill-feelings about her.

If she tries to cock-block you again, you're severing your relationship with her because you can't tolerate a friend who keeps you from having fun.
