That’s just a symptom of “romantic try-outs” (putting yourself in a position to see how the other person reacts to you). It is the equivalent of being “too nice” with acquaintances, meaning, the sole purpose of being nice, is because you hope it will influence the other person, to be nice to you. With this example, the reason “friends” do that, is you want to see how the other person reacts

I think it's fine as long as neither of you are in a relationship. The only thing is that cuddling is very personal and releases a lot of dopamine and many couples who cuddle all the time can technically get addicted to each other that way. Basically I'm saying you can do whatever you want but it's possible one or both of you can develop feelings that way
I cuddled with a girl before because we were all hanging out. She was invited by one of my friends along with a couple of other girls, but I didn't know her personally. Anyway, no one's clothes came off and no one did anything inappropriate. And after that we all went our separate ways and I never saw her again.
it's fine but i don't like cuddling unless i like someone. i'm not a really affectionate touchy person. i show my love by giving and doing things more than kissing and stuff. i just find it awkward i don't know why.
For many people, physical closeness is a sign that the other person wants a more intimate relationship. I would never cuddle with a woman unless I saw her as a romantic interest.
Alot of girls I know sit in guy's laps and they feel nothing for each other. Or so they say. "He's like a brother to me" "No we're just friends" is what they tell me. But I don't know. I guess as long as you don't think about it too hard or press on about it so much, then you can be friends and still cuddle.
No, plain and simple. Friends don't cuddle unless they are women. Opposite sex cuddling is more flirting than friendship.

Theoretically. But think about this; guy friends won't full on cuddle. I've had guy friends lay on me and stuff before and it's sort of like ironically homosexual for a laugh, but there's no genuine "embrace and cuddle" going on between dudes unless you're homo for real.
I do it all the time, we really enjoy each others presence but as far as I'm aware I hold no romantic feelings towards her, and she also has none (currently dating someone else)
There's nothing wrong with cuddling with a friend of the opposite sex. I would cuddle with a female friend but i don't believe in nothing sexual unless it became boyfriend & girlfriend and than i would have sex after marriage.
No it's not. At least one of them is going to start having feelings. So if they want to stay just friends no cuddling...😆

It’s borderline. Honestly I couldn’t do it with someone I like knowing she’s not interested in me. I would want to do more and she would reject me hard. I couldn’t do this to someone else I’m not interested in knowing it’s leading them on.
The only exception is if a gal pal was really upset or hurt or something. A long hug might be appropriate.
Sometimes after a hard day I really need a cuddle but I always feel too awkward to hug my guy friends as I don't want them to see it as somethings more than it is
Do whatcha want, if ur comfortable when who cares. If it's in private then who's gonna know anyways. And u really have no life if ur walking telling people "I watched a movie with my bestie and we cuddled"
A guy who cuddles with a girl will feel sexual feelings. It's unavoidable. He might even get a hard on. Doesn't mean he'll act on it. Like, if something bad happened, even guys sometimes just need comfort.

Absolutely normal and ok. If I was closer to one of my friends geographically I would probably cuddle often as we are both cuddly people.

No. I've done it but the only time that happens is sexual attraction of one or both people. Its just short of friends with benefits.
It's completely normal and fine. Nothing wrong with cuddling with close friend of opposite sex.
Cuddling is a way that I show affection to my partner, so I would not consider doing it with a friend. Just easier to not go down that road.
No, not that weird. I do that with some of my friends, just because it's more comfortable to sit like that sometimes.
