I've had an online friendship with someone a few years ago; we meant a lot to each other and we discussed anything. We've had our ups and downs. Her other friend didn't want her to speak to me again and I don't know why; so we haven't spoken to each other for a long time. We only wished each other a happy birthday on our birthdays.
I decided to reach out to her again. To keep her anonymous I'm going to call her Abby.

Dialogue summary over the past 2 months
Me: Hi Abby, we haven't spoken to each other in a while. Are you okay? I hope you're still healthy and doing well.
No answer, she's been busy nor has been active at all

On her birthday
Me: Happy birthday Abby, I hope you're doing well.
Still no answer

Me: Can you please respond or come online soon? I'm starting to get worried.
Abby: Hey, thanks for worrying, I'm ok I hope you are too
Me: Thank you for letting me know, I'm okay too.

Abby: I'm sorry, not really

Ever since I've been questioning myself; should I just unfriend her? She has hurt me so much. I tried to talk about the situation to someone else and they say that I've been too nice and too patient. I've given her so many chances and she only comes to me whenever she feels like it even though it's rarely ever. What should I do? Just leave it? Say something? Leaving it and doing nothing makes me feel like I'm making myself available when I shouldn't; I'm hurt.

I've known a few people like this and I learned to never let them "borrow" anything unless I'm okay with never seeing it again. But I'm wondering if you think these type of people are aware of what they do and it's a conscious thing to be greedy and keep other people's stuff? Or do you think these people are usually just forgetful?

so today my mom found a pod in my trash- i know vaping is bad i’m trynna quit. after being forced back home for quarantine, out of campus, i feel like i’ve lost all privacy. i’m turning 20 soon and i feel like i shouldn’t have to deal with my parents getting furious with me after finding a singular pod in the trash. or am i completely wrong? thoughts?

I’m sure it also matters if the kids are close in age range... and if you’re a single parent... but feel free to also share your own experiences as an only child or if you and siblings fought for attention. My sis and I are 5 years apart and it definitely felt like we had to fight for attention. It didn't help that my mom also had to split attention between us, her boyfriend, and parents. She was pretty torn between us all but often put her kids first as she should...

I personally would kick his testicles, if he tries to hit or spank my kid. Nobody can touch my kid like that. I am not going to carry a kid for 9 months and suffer from childbirth for many hours so that my kid get hit/spanked or whatever by the dad.

Im not a fan of pets, so easy one for me 🤷‍♀️ Kids for this baby crazy lady. But what about you? What do you choose

My friend said that she recovered from depression with a combination of healthy lifestyle, prayer, and subliminal message videos. She sent me the playlist she used.

I'm willing to listen to it, especially since I need something calming to listen to on my headphones to block out the sound of my roommate talking on the phone when I am trying to sleep.

However I am wondering how effective these are, and if anyone has experienced negative effects. I have heard about the incidents with "Mind Power Subliminals" and it sounds pretty terrifying, but my friend said that the subliminals she used (from Vortex Success) are trustworthy & haven't had any negative effects on her, only healing. I haven't heard any negative experiences.

So have you had any experience with subliminal messaging videos? If so, what impact did it have, if any? Please read all options before voting :)
