Here is another fashion look specifically at belts. I tried to go off of a theme of by the book for the title... but I was inspired by watching smart fashion belt fashion in tv shows and movies so I decided to see what I could dig up.
To start I have been seeing these Gucci belts all over the place. They are really loud and clearly stand out but from what I've seen its a good thing. They just add an extra pop to each outfit. Each outfit looks great but that belt works perfectly with them and it is the cherry on top.
This is a bit of suit and coat like fashion. Starting with the brown coat, the white shirt and brown coat would so well with the black belt and leggings. It is an edgy look while still being mature. The striped coat outfit has just the perfect mixture of everything from the layered undershirt to the pants to the boots. It has a mature look to it but I argue that any age could pull it off. The grey coat outfit is so smart it is modern edgy while at the same time being kind of art chic. The final picture is the bag with the D. This is a normal coat but the belt sticks out so well along with the placement of the buttons and is just a very clever look.
All these dresses can all be argued to have the same theme. They are all close cousins of the coat or at least close to looking like each other. The top dress appears most like a coat and it has a feel of wearing a boyfriends jacket but instead of finishing into a big open coat flaps it turns into a dress. It is really cute while also having a mature and professional look. The next dress down has a flap like a coat but clearly is not coat it does the opposite of what the other dress did, it starts as dress then turns into a coat. This clearly has a more sexy appeal that stands out. The next dress stands out because of the bikini like straps. The material looks leather jacket like and to even add more confusion has a belt that looks like something a leather jacket would have. It is clearly sexy and flirty but interesting. The forth dress goes back to being mature and professional. Its simple and sweet but that's it's charm. The diamond appearance of the belt stands out as well.
These three pictures represents interesting fashion trends that while I could have searched them I just decided to mention them. The first is the belted skirt with midriff showing. It is kind of clever and the examples shown are not perfect but it shows they can be interesting it outfits are played around with a little. Another one is the elastic belt it looks fun but currently extremely tacky. It looks like it can work but the outfit will have to be carefully planned around it to feature it without having it throw off the whole outfit in the process.
This is filled with almost entirely black belts. But to be honest it was hard to find other outfits by basic searches... I am sure there are plenty of brown belts that look good as well as many other colors but here is a at least one brown belt in the mix with these images. The first green dress is very interesting because it is a metal appearing belt. It is simple but looks really good with the dress. The next dress is very interesting because it goes through three phases, southern tomboy shirt to modern edgy metallic to professional causal. It has quite an interesting effect that I think is pretty fun but might look even cooler with a white shirt top. The next yellow tube dress is clearly, to me, southern inspired. I love how the brown works so well with the yellow and I'm sure there is a more modest example out there but this shows how well they work together. I love the next black dress it is loose yet dreamy. The belt while woven works surprisingly well with outfit. The final brown outfit is pure fun is a mix of causal and high class. The belt is just apart of this and every piece of clothing just works together into a fun powerful outfit.
This is clearly a black theme to this and with my limited searching time it is kind of where things settled. But there are clearly more colorful options out there and fashion options too. This is merely a sample of what I hope was a fun quick brief look at belted outfits.
