I love the 50s and 60s fashion. I would vote for the 50s though. I think the pin-up style is gorgeous I do minimal pin-up make up when I go out (eyeliner, mascara, red lips) and have my hair in soft waves. Similar to this, minus the blue on the eyes

I love the silhouette of the dresses, and I think they still look good today. Such a classic shape!
(For some reason, imgur just stopped working for me, sorry)

I have always thought that the 50s had a very cute style and I love the fashion from that era.

What Girls Said
Late 60's - and 20's is nice too - not the flapper dresses but the Hollywood glamour clothing and makeup. =)
30 s.
girls are so chic with their hats and everything
s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/.../...e90f32e4c8.jpg40s and 50s. I like the makeup : clear skin, cat eyes and red lipstick. I like that clothes were made to be pretty and durable, and flatter or create curves. I especially like flowy dresses that are fitted on top and flare on the bottom. That they created glamour in tough times even with very little money, they sewed their dresses to be a perfect fit instead of buying them. I like the quality of the clothes
Leather big hair and general expression. The ability to go big with makeup and hair while just having fun without being called a whore or attention seeker. At the same time a more liberal attitude toward Wemon so I don't have to feel judged if a flirt or just act if I do now. Go big or go home
For me I'd have to say late 60's early 70's because disco was probably the coolest and most unique era. Most other fashion trends kind of bled together like 20's and 30's, 40's and 50's. The 60's and 70's were probably the only era where there was a stark contrast.
This was hard for me. I love to in prorate as many eras as I can into my clothes. I have fifties style dresses, with the petticoat and all... But I also have the mock turtleneck and high waisted jeans from the sixties... But definitely the 80s is where I belong... I mean Madonna? Fashion icon. i think I own half of her wardrobe in 1985... I know I need help.
The 40s. The wartime restrictions caused a lot of women to dress in a more practical way. There was still a lot of femininity in the style, but a lot of it was also based off military uniforms. Everything about it appeals to me.
Nooooo I accidentally voted 70s. Well I really like the 50s and 60s era. I really like their outfits but not a big fan of the polka dots and patterns in 50s. But I like 60s better the clothes are more professional and girly at the same time.
