If someone calls you frail or dainty is that a compliment or an insult?

Lots of people have called me both of those and I'm never sure if they are complimenting me or insulting me, so I'm never sure how to respond. Would y'all consider that an insult or a compliment.

Depends how it's being said. My boyfriend will say it to talk shit so I'll talk shit back but if it's other people telling me I'm small and dainty I'm like lmfao okay? Y bad for being small guys
