Why are brown girls seen as ugly?

People have different preferences and finds different things beautiful meaning that not everyone think the same. While some prefer pale, other may prefer brown, something in between or both.

I think natural brown and tan looks good. Some people suits it very well. Just because someone thinks it doesn't mean it applies to everyone. I find it attractive when someone have dark features like tan/brown skin, brown eyes and black hair.

Why pale skin is fashionable in some countries today and some countries in the past is because of it has something to do with the social classes. Pale or light skin were associated with the rich upper classes because they often sat indoor and didn't have to do outside labor like farming. Poor people who worked in the field often were very tan or brown skinned after being outside in the sun.

Poor people who worked in the mines often were covered in black and brown dirt. Since they couldn't afford cleaning themselves as regular as the richer ones in the past they could stay dirty for a longer time. In addition some of it was stuck in the skin and is very hard to wash away.

At the same time were they had the social classes it also was a rule were the rich married the rich ones and the poor married the poor ones. Therefor being pale was in fashion and seen as beautiful because that symbolized that the person could afford a nice living standard. A rich person who wanted to marry another rich one could distinguish which class they belonged to on both clothing and skin tone.

It wasn't only like that in the past in Europe. It's also like that in India, China, South-Korea and some other countries where the majority are dark. By the beauty standard it's fine being dark since ethnicity is something you can't change, but looking rich and light-skinned was the ideal.

Rich people often stayed indoor giving them a lighter skin look than the poor farmers who worked in the sun all days. If they couldn't achieve it natural they used white makeup and sometime used medicinal leech to suck the blood out of their face.

It exist people who's naturally brown that's seen as beautiful by many people.

they aren't. there are certain things media makes out to be "the perfect women" but at the end of the day men have their own tastes. i actually dont like the "model look" and some men do, it all depends on preference. some will like women thicker some like'em skinnier, some like'em darker and some like'em lighter. basically most men won't care what color you are as long as you have chemistry. woman can be (and are) beautiful no matter the skin color.

Brown girls are not ugly. There are pretty girls from every race.
I have seen several cute brown girls (NoHomo) Plus you don't even age... A 35 year old black woman is as energetic and attractive as much as an 18 year old one.
So, stop feeling sad, you are beautiful and you should embrace your looks.

They are not. I'm white and I wish I was darker, or mixed, I don't like being white. I'm not joking. I grew up in a primarily black neighborhood, I got picked on for being white. No one liked me. I feel I'd have had an easier time in school being darker. Those were the one that everyone talked to, everyone wanted them. No one wants a white girl from Detroit lol

Not they they are ugly, just that the Hollywood version of beauty it the busty, pale blond. Aloth of people base their own standard off what they are use to seeing. I garuntee you that someone in your life finds you very attractive
