Why is women’s clothing so much softer than male clothing?

I agree, girls clothes are softer, but I also think they're thiner. I always thought it's not really strong material and I prefer my shirts, that are thick. But then again, I think girls don't have to iron their that much, it doesn't really crease as much as ours in my opinion.
