What do you think of bold lipstick colors and people who wear them?

I actually don't like lipstick at all, natural lips are so much sexier.

And I dislike bright red the most. Any other color is better, guessing it's because if it's going to stick out (which it will), it might aswell make you seem exotic and special. To dare do something different I find rather hot.

But I realize most guys I've talked to about lipstick simply don't agree with me.

I love good lipstick. I actually think too few women wear bold colors, especially those dark, red salacious colors. Tbh they're the women who make me feel "out of league" although I don't care that much bc I have a wonderful girlfriend who I plan to spend many years with

The bold colors are great for costumes/cosplay, but in real life, they just make you look intimidating and unkissable. Even though all my wife's lipsticks never rub off (and we tested that very vigorously), the more bold the color, the less enjoyable the kisses.

If it appropriate for the setting, I like the way it looks. Music videos, night clubs, parties - yeah go crazy. School, work, walking in the park - you might look ridiculous with some of those lipstick colors.

I like bold lipstick and have plenty of crazy colors. I only wear them occasionally though, most of the time I go natural.

In the right circumstances it can be really hot, some colours don't really work in my opinion (like the yellow in the pictures looks weird). Other than that, it just shows me that whoever wears those colours like to be noticed (and who doesn't really).

So ultimately, if you like wearing bold colours, do it

I personally don’t like wearing bold makeup. But, I don’t like wearing bold things in general. I prefer subtlety. (There is nothing wrong with bold makeup, and I admire the people that can pull it off, it’s just not my speed.)

I think it's entirely contextual to the rest of her outwardly appearance, assuming I do not know the person and am judging her at first glance. The thing I most often think is either how well it can either be pulled off or go wrong, with no middle ground.

Dark lipstick can be interesting, but you need the combination of skin tone and hair color, like the woman on the first picture.

It really depends on the color, the outfit its paired with, and the setting. Personally, I think darker colors are sexy, like black, deep red, and burgundy. Yellow, however, belongs nowhere near your face.
