Why do old people often wear beige?

One thing I've noticed is that many old people wears beige clothes. It's especially common among men. Women is more colorful. In addition old people often wear a certain clothing style. #OldPeople #OldWearsBeige #OldPeopleClothes

Because that's what their generation is used to wearing lol
Look at our generation, 90% of men and 50% of women will be wearing jeans.
Kaki pants are good for lounging, golfing, church and out to a casual diner and match just about anything. Why mess with what works? Especially when getting dressed for the day takes way more effort than it used to.

They don't feel like they can't be fashionable any more because they are old. They don't want others to make fun of them for wearing clothes that are hip when they aren't in the generation. It is difficult for them to find clothes for their generation and for men, beige is what clothing stores for the elderly mostly have to offer.

Why does it matter if old people wear beige? Maybe they’ve stopped caring what color their clothes are! Maybe they only look for comfort! I don’t know! Won’t know until I get old and start wearing a shit load of beige!

For pants, it's a standard men's clothing piece, more formal than jeans, less formal than dress trousers. Evolved out of the sort of military uniforms worn in hot climates.

Probably because they have been always wearing it. Like most young people wear jeans. In some countries it was virtually impossible to get jeans 50 years ago (e. g. in some former Soviet countries) and people wore what they could get.
