It's not promoting. .. if ever issue from now till the end of the year featured her on the cover with a blanky sized center fold pin up with a limited edition hologram trading card that.. would be promoting obesity.
Possibly. But its also smart as the waistbands of many people keep growing and growing and growing and growing and growing and growing. It's a clever way to sell more subscriptions.
Yes, it is irresponsible. These skinny models work so hard to get there and some fat lady cannot just take their place. Plus it should look good too, and she looks ugly.
How about society expects models to not be fat, but also stops expecting models to be super skinny? I'm saying this as someone who's always been at least 15 pounds underweight. Emotionally I'd like to see women in magazines who look like me, HOWEVER I know that most women can't be this skinny naturally, & have to go to very unhealthy lengths to get to this point. I hate that so many women feel pressured to do that, instead of being happy at a healthy weight.
I get your point. Some models go to strange heights to be skinny. That's bad but some fat model cannot take their place. They worked so hard to get there. And I feel that a perfectly maintained body is best suitable for modeling. Not overweight fat ass or super skinny girl.
It is irresponsible for anyone to promote an unhealthy lifestyle.

This is a real cover?
It is good to have confidence at any weight.
But people have to know it is unhealthy to be this heavy don't they?

Fat is where its at. You never experienced life until you have had a 300 lbs woman on top of you during sex. All those rolls and tits smacking you every which way.
This is really the MHO. ... Magazines promote it because it's good business. The majority of their readers in UK, US, Canada, and Mexico are overweight or obese. So are we to have a Ministry of Body Image to review publications?
That cover was to make fat girls feel good about themselves... But that's okay. Personally I think its gross AF, but it's their publication and if it sells it sells.

Nope. This is perverted body positivity and PC extremism. I don't think it will lead to more fat acceptance and I don't even think it should do that.
If it sells, they will do it. I think the fault lies with the women and men who promote it themselves.
Promoting people of different looks and body types is good but not when they’re super unhealthy and dangerous
Its not wrong. Its just not appealing. Damn they couldve cut her body out after the boobshot
Glad she workinn on it
Her knees look like they are backwards.. im more concerned about that
She is not healthy. Neither are most models they put on the covers.
No. People need to see Big Girls as beautiful women every bit as much as the do the ultra skinny supermodels.

Ofcourse obesity is unhealthy and wrong. It should not be promoted similar to aneroxia.
I find it a little annoying but I am no longer phased by it. They always put fat girls on the cover now
Yes - it's already the biggest killer in the US and UK (heart problems, cancer, diabetes)... It shouldn't be promoted or normalised.
It's not healthy to be Obese. Not at all, it's also not healthy to be super skinny, you have to go inbetween.

Definitely. Self confidence and acceptance is important, but that doesn’t mean you should let yourself go and be fine with whatever happens.
there not promoting it there just saying u dont have to be a stick to be a model anymore
