What does 7.5/10 mean in terms of looks?

Two guys (they’re pretty average looking in my opinion) rated my looks when I sent them a pic and said I was 7.5/10. I’m not sure what it actually means and I don't know if it’s a good thing or not. I get called “pretty” or “gorgeous” from many people yet this rating is kind of weird and offensive. What does it actually mean?

Most likely they were just being nice and in fact, you are no better than average looking; i. e., a 5 or 6. However, if in fact, they were honest, a 7.5 is very attractive but not beautiful.

Beauty is very subjective. But I would take 7.5/10 and run with it. For me that's a really good score. But you're right , the scoring system in itself feels a bit weird 😅😅

Logically that would mean better than 75% of women, but different people use different scales. To me 5 is pleasantly attractive. 8 would be beauty queen level. I've only seen one 9 in my life, and never anyone close to a 10.
