Surprisingly, and I speak anecdotally, my groups of peers prefer less to no make up when it comes to what attracts them to women.

Each person has their own individual tastes when it comes to who they find attractive, but in my conversations make up is undesirable.

Now, that doesn't mean of we are going out for a fancy night, that lipstick and eyeliner aren't a huge turn on but that is usually because it is no the norm.

There is nothing worse than a girl who looks like she will melt. in the sun or that has on 4 layers of ' paint' that you can see when looking at her jawline...

The cosmetics industry deliberately makes women insecure about their natural appearance in order to coerce them into spending on make up, etc.
Often that causes beautiful young women to become painted harlots with far less appeal than their natural looks.
Even where cosmetic disguise seems reasonable it often makes no difference. I have a granddaughter with a facial birthmark, and she refuses to cover it. That makes her no less beautiful, and me very proud.

The reason I questioned it because it seems a lot of women are insulting women who don’t wear or use those enhancements and I feel women should uplift and appreciate one another rather than make them feel like they should look like everyone else especially considering all those things are so superficial and if majority of the women were to get rid of those enhancements or when they do take it off at night, they are a totally different person and it’s nothing wrong with that because natural beauty is a beautiful thing I just wish more women would understand that and stop trying to impress the next woman or man. You know trying to fit it and be seen. People should appreciate you for you and if they treat you differently because you look different then stay away from those types of people.

I wear a full face on a day im not feeling so good to boost my self confidence so I can go out and have fun with the people im around, but usually when im feeling good I just go with no makeup or just some BB cream, honestly todays beauty changes so much nowadays that whatever a girl feels comfortable with should be good.

Nope. I wear nearly any makeup, never had extensions in my life, don't get mani/pedi... i look after myself and have a strict hygiene regiment, but I don't want to waste my money on all this. Prefer to spend it on travelling, socialising or otherwise enjoying life. Absolutely don't take away from those that like to wear makeup (& everything else), just it's not for me.

I get it and as I said in a earlier comment I think women can be beautiful either way but I think we should embrace our natural beauty more often but guys will say they prefer natural but for one they don’t know the difference between a girl wearing naturally toned down makeup or a woman just being natural and second, men say they prefer the natural, soft and cute look but they go after the women I described in the post. The wig is a good one men are really bad at working out if a girl is wearing a wig or not I always have to tell my male mates that's not her real hair they look at me like no way. If the make up is caked on guys can tell but if its subtle it's harder to spot plus guys don't want to offend either it's not as if they can ask with out getting a slap in the face or a dirty look and another girl asking lol unless it's a mate you don't like your face very much she won't appreciate you asking. @Bailee__ yes some girls do very good job by making the makeup very natural looking, so some guys can't tell the difference, but many guys do. This type of makeup is nothing like the instagram model fake looking level, because that level is always obvious no matter how clueless a guy is about makeup. And they go after the fake ones too, but that does not mean that guys prefer obnoxious fake eyelashes and extremely long fake nails. Those do NOT look natural and I have not seen any guy who prefers those. most guys don't even like long nails even if they are natural, colorful perhaps but not long and especially not fake. Those instagram type girls usually have nice figures, and guys go after them for sex. The long eyelashes and many other treatments combined will not look natural, and guys will also be able to tell that the girl is obsessed with her looks. they might go after them for sex, because that's what those girls advertise and guys are obsessed with sex, but they rarely see them as girlfriend material. Any guy will pick a natural girl who takes care of herself naturally, be in shape, smell nice, clean hair, clean skin, minimal makeup and nails, dressed nicely but not screaming for attention like those instagram models. they portray themselves to look like 'sex' so guys give them attention, but if you presented yourself in your best shape, well groomed but still natural, where if you took off your makeup you would not look like a different person vs them after they shower they are someone else, they would choose you 100%. they want natural girls more, but fake ones just look easy in more ways than one. you dont need fake lashes or nails, just put some nail polish or accentuate your features with makeup, like eyeliner, lipstick. guys admit they like minimal makeup because it looks like a girl takes care of herself and it brings out their features.
