Voted on behalf of my girlfriend. She does - and for that matter I do - not understand this mania for shaving.
My girlfriend likes natural. In fact, one time, thinking it was the fashion, I decided to surprise her and shaved everything. Armpits, chest hair, pubes, legs.
She was surprised all right. She hated it. She said it made me look like a little boy and made her feel like a child molester. As she so eloquently phrased it - "She wants a man who looks and smells like a man." Ouch!
Anyhow, it's okay with me. All that shaving was a lot of work. I grow a beard in the winter months but shave in the spring - probably this week coming up - and go clean shaven in spring and summer. That is all the shaving I need. Besides, I am not comfortable with a razor that close to my manhood and the family jewels.
Besides, when she is feeling cutesy my girlfriend will refer to me as "her furry little bear." I actually like being called that - silly as it sounds. So "furry little bear" I am and "furry little bear" I shall remain.
I have asked women if they wanted me to shave my chest and everytime I go the answer "NO".
I am not sure where 'essential' has come in? I date in and out of my. own generation and NONE have wanted a waxed chest or shaved legs.
The pictures you show appear to be models to me, so if that is what you are referring to as essential, then uh, no that is not essential.
I know guys in their mid 20s who dont shave or wax. Granted it's not 100's of guys I know but my work is very diverse in age and they all looked at me and said 'no one shaves their legs'.
So I am not sure maybe a different culture then mine,

You would need to define 'younger' youngest I have recently been with was 25. But I just asked two guys, just now. Both 25 and they said, uh no one shaves their legs except swimmers.
I am not super hairy chest but I am extremely hairy legs and NONE have asked me to even trim my legs.
So. my question is, what country are you in? And where are you hearing it is essential to shave your legs?
I don't think shaving legs if necessary for guys but yes shabu chest and stomach has become a necessity for men and trimming legs is also becoming a necessity now a days. You say your legs (and thighs) are really hairy , have you ever asked the girls you dated about their opinion on them and they actually straight away said they're okay with them being all natural very hairy?
Surprisingly I am very confident and I make a joke when I am naked , I make the "chewbacha" sound the guttural cry he has... and say, "I am hairy like a wookie". I can't say I have done that everytime because not all sexual situations are joking like that, but I have always received positive or indifferent feedback.
So yes I have asked and never had it suggested I shave.
I have heard , 'no I like men, not boys'.
But again this isn't an "everytime" conversation.
I am comfortable and confident though so if I was more hairy it would not bother me.
I am guessing you are hairy and if you are self conscious about being hairy then do what makes you feel better and shave or wax.
However, I have yet to see anyone say it is essential except you.
So if you have a slightly negative self image and are looking for others to agree with you, I dont think you are going to find it, unless you come across another person that is hairy and doesn't like it. Or a girl that prefers less hair.
There are many girls who hate lot of hair and prefer less hair or even hairless as you can see from the poll results above. How about having very hairy chest and stomach and somewhat hairy shoulder, upper arm and side of back?
I do notice the majority of your voters seem to say it is creepy.
Again, I can't answer for everyone.
As for my junk? I keep it trimmed.
As for hair, I have no problem asking a girl what she likes... shaving and waxing is something I see, but it is in the gay community. Again I am not the authority on how body hair should be.
I can just say I work with guys aged 25 -> 61 and out of 18 guys I asked today, none of them shave or trim their legs and 4 said they use clippers to shorten their chest hair. All the rest said they did nothing.
12 of those guys were under 35.
Maybe a cultural. thing? Or an age thing? I dont know what anyone under 25 does because I dont interact with anyone that young.
But again, if you feel. it is normal. and what you want to do then do it.
As for how I feel around woman while I have leg hair, it doesn't bother me and I have been naked with a lot of woman and none told me. they minded. And many of those women I have been with multiple times. Except one night stands of course.
Actually I am bit confused about this. I am really very hairy as I already told you. It looks so messy and ugly to me TBH and it looks worse when compared next to a woman's smooth skinned body. I have never been naked and so close to a woman anyway.
If it makes you uncomfortable, then cut it, trim it, wax it, or shave it.
You can do whatever you like to help YOU feel more attractive.
Every woman will have her own amount of hair and where it is located that attracts her. Some may want a guy twice as hairy as you and others may want a guy that doesn't even have eyebrows.
But I suggest you do what makes you feel sexy and attractive and then. when you have more self. confidence, you will attract more woman and hopefully one day you will be naked and close to a woman. You. may have been shaved and then if you work up the nerve to ask her what she likes she may surprise you and say she would prefer if you had more hair.
For now, do what makes you happy. That is my best advise.
And please don't compare yourself to porn stars or other people
First off if you compare yourself to porn stars you will hopefully realize they are pornstars simply. because they have larger then average penises.
If you are blessed with a large penis, then go on and be proud. But like hair on your body, if you are always trying to compare yourself to. others you will always feel. lacking because there are ALWAYs better looking people to compare to. So. dont do it. Compare yourself to yourself but the you you were the day before. If that makes sense. Everyday work on being better and more. confident then you were the day before. The woman will notice. And hairy or hairless woman want confident men.
so what if kids have no hair? thats not saying we prefer our partner to look more like children cos we wanna have sex with children, not that at all... we jus find it a personal preference for a girl to have clean shave vagina as a hairy one looks gross, nothing to do with wanting them to do with looking like children,
children also have arms, should we cut off our partners arms jus so we dont be accused of being pedos for wanting our partners to have arms like children also do? u know what im saying. adults can also be hairless... so i dunno why the fuck ur making that link.. makes me suspicious of u
Umhmm some dusting of hair there is common and normal and doesn't bother much , but what if it's a whole carpet of thick coarse hair all over the chest, whole abdomen and some shoulder hair as well...
Before I head to bed let me leave with this advice. Love your own body 😊 Maybe you are either insecure about being super hairy or wanting to prove hairless men are sexy. Just know that no matter if you are hairy or hairless, different people find different things attractive. As of now 55% of people (71% girls and 25% guys) prefer hair on men, and the rest don't which makes this issue almost 50-50. To shave or not to shave, go for it as long as that's what you want.
Not my cup of tea, but I can't speak for all women. .. Personally, I think this is getting ridiculous how many men and women keep jumping on the band wagon for these unnatural looks. ... seems to be fueld by Ego and lack of self-confidence.
Hard to tell for me if it's sexy as I'm not even remotely sexually attracted in men, but I don't think a lot of women care about it, sounds like USA thing
I guess this perception is now changing quite rapidly because of porn, models and Hollywood men. Personally you prefer guy to have hairy body , legs/thigh and even hairy chest and stomach?
