Also not limited to men, let the ladies regardless of their weight go topless too. Granted this is my opinion and it might be unpopular. The problem IS NOT āfat guysā or āfat ladiesā going topless. The problem is shallow and horrible people thinking that just because they donāt like how someone else looks that entitled them to treat someone poorly or immorally and Unconstitutionally restrict their basic human right of self expression.
Either everyone has the right to go topless regardless of their body shape or anything else or nobody has the right. Insisting some people get a right and others donāt especially when itās based on extremely arbitrary standards is immoral and irrational as well as a violation of the US Constitution.
Thatās why same sex marriage was legalized by the Court. Also way schools in the south were racially desegregated (though many schools are still de facto segregated especially in the north using socioeconomics). Separate but equal is a lie.00 Reply
No offense at all to the question asker. I get the premise behind this question. Having said that however it irriates me at how much in other people business society is. So involved in "who is going topless" .."what someone drives".."who someone is in love with" that we miss all the real beauty in the world. Like missing a rainbow because the fat chick in short shorts is walking down the street.
Or not seeing that beautiful sunset because a lesbian couple is making out...(I could keep going but you get it!!😉)
WHO CARES !!! TO each their own. Don't like it?, don't look. Just do you and the world would be such a better place.

+1 yItās really none of our business. If you judge people who are being themselves, what are you doing really? You have no idea what someone has gone trough. They might have lost a lot of weight, and might look chubby to you but are actually proud of their results or just generally confident with their body. I believe confidence is beautiful, no matter what someone looks like. Everyone has a different opinion of what is beautiful and what is not. Wearing a shirt or lack there off shouldnāt be something that bothers you. :/

+1 yI don't care if you are "fat", I don't pay attention to people that are just passing by, thus I am not judging them. It's more about justice than equality, though. Being topless is nothing I'd ban, although you have to admit that being topless as a woman cannot be compared to being topless as a man - there are some... differences, that have to be considered.
Girls do not get mad over our chests as we do. It's not the matter of being fat, but rather a sex-related thing. Men are not allowed to wave their flags publicly either, but their chests are... kinda insignificant, don't you think? It's the same as with sized women's thighs.10 Reply- 343 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic.
+1 yNobody should go topless, this according to my oncologist. I haven't been to a beach topless in over 40 years and I have no plans to start. And despite being of a normal healthy weight according to my doctor, I have man boobs which I do not care to display bare except when I am at a nude beach where people are much less judgmental. As for chubby women, I wouldn't dream of doing that to such a woman or any other person. For me personally it's not about equality as much about health but as I find larger women more attractive I am unlikely to suggest such a woman put up any visual barriers between her body and my eyes.

If your oncologist isnāt aware of sunscreen and that the American Cancer Society and Skin Cancer Society both day sunscreen is proven to reduce skin cancer risk by 50% when applied as directed then they need to lose their medical license in my opinion.
Granted this sounds to me like a case of Dr. WebMD or Dr. Google. No self respecting oncologist worth their salt is going to tell people itās not medically recommended to you topless. Thatās fly in the face of all medical research and data available.
Unless they got their MD from a diploma mill and arenāt legally practicing medicine (unlikely) or simply unethically present their personal opinions as medical advice against the science in the matter (plausible but Iāll still still with youāre full of crap) they never said that at all. But nice try next time you want to appeal to authority donāt make such an obviously false narrative. - +1 y
@YOLOIFIC My oncologist is the chair of the state board of oncology and chair of the oncology department of an Ivy League university and is one of the top three oncologists in the world in his specialty. He has published more articles in the New England Journal of Medicine than any other oncologist. He also cured my cancer which I was given less than a 1% chance of surviving by the previous doctor. His credentials are flawless.
As for sunscreen, you claim 50%. That is not nearly enough. This is like claiming a bullet proof vest will stop 50% of bullets. All sunblock does is reduce the risk. It does not eliminate it. Only an idiot would expose large parts of their body to the sun over extended periods of time. I can show you a cemetery full of idiots. - +1 y
Are they also the King of England?
Also regardless of their alleged accolades an oncologist dispensing misinformation to patients that openly contradicts the American Cancer Society and the Skin Cancer Society need to be fired for gross incompetent and professional misconduct.
Their personally has no place in a clinical setting when itās presented as medical advice and is NOT valid medical advice.
No 50% reduction and that is not only enough, but there is not other way to further reduce the risk of sun cancer unless you stay indoors and never go in the sun.
Iām sure your ontology put all of them in the cemetery if he openly lies another medical fact. - +1 y
Also your cancer isnāt my business keep it to yourself if youāre going to be a blatant hypocrite and insist the American Cancer Association and Skin Cancer Foundation donāt supersede your unsupported anecdote that fly it the face of all medical facts.
Someone with sunscreen on and another person with their shirt off is NO more at risk than someone with a shirt on but reduce risk about 50% again according to the actual medical facts presented by the two professional organizations that lead the global effort to prevent and find cures for cancer.

But thanks, this refusal to accept reality go donāt like out of ignorance and emotional attachment even when presented with objective fact is why people refuse to get vaccinated or wear seatbelts.

Fat guys AND fat ladies should go get a diet because it's a dangerous health condition not a personal choice. Encouraging fatness is Encouraging people to kill themselves plain and simple10 Reply352 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. What I find to be hilarious is the guys with an enormous gut hanging WAY over their belt, but they'll squeeze their asses into the pants they wore as a teenager, and say, "See, I still wear a 32 waist."
That kills me every time I hear it. And I do.
That doesn't really respond to your question, but the image appeared to me.

Usually the ones that do that are guys that's slim or have lots of muscles. I would sometimes see some guys jogging around the neighborhood with no shirt on.
But for fat guys not so much.10 Reply- 1.4K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic.
+1 yI have no objections.
Beach and swimming are a practical exception, I think.
But it's really not asked too much to be a little thoughtful about personal shape and fitness - and about ''reasonable'' dress style as well.
About ''fatness'': I don't see the point in making it look like being a good -or even normal - thing.00 Reply 402 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. You are right we should fat shame both genders equally. I don't want to see fat people nude at all. Hide your shame in public don't flaunt it.

That is just an excuse for being lazy. Sure how much food and exercise a person needs to maintain healthy body differ between people's depending on age and genes. But the number of people who can't be healthy with a disciplined mind is limited to a few rare cases, which could be seen as genetic diseases.
Everybody should be able to go topless or bikini or etc.

I wish a lot of things, I wish there was peace. I wish people didnāt hate, I wish I was a millionaire.
Itās fine to wish, just as itās fine to hold an opinion on something regardless of if that opinion is rational or even morally acceptable.
The problem is when you use an opinion to infringe on the rights of others. You never have to see someoneās bare chest if you donāt look. Granted you canāt know when someone is going to come into your field of view so there might be a momentary change of seeing a bare chest but look away and everything is fine. Everyone is happy.
I do agree and am glad to see it changing that the systemic discrimination against woman regarding being topless is changing. Itās wrong to set one standard for one sex and a second for the other sex. If men are allowed to go topless so should women. Thatās what the Constitution says in the Equal Protections Clause.
