What would you think if guys went back to dressing the way they did in the 50s and 60s?

I'm a bit shocked by the results here. Women seem to love the idea, but guys seem to think it's either too much work to pull off or... who knows.

I do that very often I like 1940s and 50s fashions. I have double brested 3 piece suit, a zoot suit, wing tip shoes, saddle shoes, poodle skirts, crinoline and many other items of clothing.

Yes I am a clothing collector and I wear both genders of clothing, sometimes all male, sometimes all female and sometimes both mixed together

I'd sooner wear that suit and hat Frank Sinatra was wearing than that awful 70's disco flared stuff people seem to keep on trying to bring back into fashion.

Most men don’t live a lifestyle that is cohesive to dressing that way. They would be wise to cultivate the lifestyle first, then dress accordingly.

The aesthetics of pre-psychadelic America were beautiful. Cities and towns had charm and people were generally more well spoken and emotionally balanced. Kids were actually kids and most adults actually conducted themselves like adults. Perfumes smelled better and people took pride in what they wore EVERYDAY. A man's suit wasn't considered formal wear and women didn't wear shower caps in supermarkets and department stores when they went out to shop. It's sad how much we've deteriorated.

Generally, "normal" fashion trends run in a cycle of decades. I am sure they will come back sonner or later. By "normal", mean what majority comfortablly follows all around.

That would be a pain in the ass. I work in shorts and tshirt these days and have no desire to change that. Might go a couple work days without putting on shoes too.
